  1. With the clubs motto of "commitment to excellence" or whatever it was, I would be surprised. You'd want high quality service in the executive suites.
  2. I think it's a bit of a taint in all honesty if his story begins AND ends with him failing at Liverpool.

    Mane

Yep, Van Aanholt actually did him a favour, it was going horribly wide.
  4. We have to be sure that they're good enough, that's the thing. If they're not going to improve upon Yoshida then there's no point. We can't bring players through the academy for the sake of it. If they've performed well at that level we'll be able to let them go with hefty sell-on clauses, give Yoshida a new contract and then if we do get an opportunity to improve on him then we should be able to get a decent fee for him as well as he has performed at Prem level.
  5. Hope they post a copy of that image at the end somewhere, that'll be good for a smile. I honestly think Sammy Lee is employed simply for his enthusiasm.
  6. Why doesn't STEEEEEVE have a seat in the ground? Looks like he's kept in a cupboard and forced to watch it on a tiny little portable TV.
  7. Pretty obvious it'll be Wanyama and Morgan in for Fonte and Reed with a return to our usual formation. I'd also like to see one of Long or Davis rested for the Chelsea game if possible.
  8. Trouble is cheerleaders in america get run out for a dance and a wiggle every 10 minutes or so, and as a result they get paid a lot of money. Cheerleading is actually a career over there, full grown women don't have the time for it here.
  9. Glad i'm not the only one made uncomfortable by the idea.
  10. Oh dear Liverlol
  11. Players haven't got a clue what Rodgers wants from them with that substitution.
  12. Left work at 1-0, get home at 1-2. Many laughs were had.
  13. I'd imagine they turned 16 and moved on with their lives, you dirty old man
  14. Why on earth would he do that? The reset point is just around the corner.
  15. I'll never forget away to Nottarf in the NPC, half time raffle - "and the grand prize, of ONE HUNDRED AND TWELVE POUNDS!!!!" Cue **** taking and much laughter from the away end followed by chants of 'now you can buy the club'.
  16. Reaction was far more entertaining than the entertainment itself. I thought it was going to kick-off, people really weren't happy But yeah, the relay is pure genius in it's simplicity. Bring it back.
  17. It won't be near a sell-out IMO.
  18. In the first half, during those run of corners? Completely disagree. I've been one of his biggest critics over recent weeks but those were excellent corners and if he'd come out that far he risked getting left in no mans land.
  19. Absolutely, if he goes in the summer i will have no hard feelings whatsoever. If he goes for £30million or more in january and we sign Sneijder for example, i don't think i'd be too upset then either...
  20. Was only required to come out for a cross once yesterday and he dealt with it decisively, punching it well clear. Very reassuring to see that improving, hopefully it continues in games where teams are getting more balls into the box.
  21. Prepare for increased blood pressure: Letting Everton carry on with one of their players down, then ordering Forster to put the ball out of play as soon as we got the ball.
  22. "4million euros is nuts"? Not really in todays market mate.
  23. If we could be back in the top 4 for january first that will be a real statement.
  24. Yoshida also scored earlier in the season V West Ham didn't he? Or was that last season?
