No-ones saying Fontay, they're saying "Jose Font hey baby"

Let's ignore the dozens of times he's been wrong, eh. You can pretend like people are being over sensitive all you like. The fact is he predicted a Saints loss for around 5 months straight last season, and the fact is that when Lineker pulled him up on it he tried to say it was "all lies". The guy clearly doesn't like us for one reason or another, but it doesn't bother me personally.
-
Why would signing a left back over a year ago have stopped us signing a centre back a couple of months ago?
-
Two, WBA. Also that's hardly the fault of the team is it. Our next lot of fixtures are Swansea, United, Fulham, Stoke and Hull - none of whom are in the top 10. If we concede say one more goal in those fixtures, will your view point remain the same? And if we then go away to Arsenal - who are looking phenomenal at the moment, having won every game since the opening day olf the season - and concede, will you then say "told you we couldn't keep a clean sheet against a top 10 side"? December will be a huge test of our defence IMO. Every one of them tough fixtures (the exception of Villa at home), all coming thick and fast where fatigue could set in. Personally I could see Boruc winning the golden glove this year.

Betting at SFC now.. What a total pain in the butt!

It's only a mile long for the 10 minutes before kick-off because people leave it so late. -
Jesus! Nice work.

Double winnings!? More tempted now. -
Just shows the level of cheat he is, that he was thinking of getting the extra man advantage as well as the pen.

Surely you can claim at the next game? Don't bother betting at St Marys anymore, just do accys online the night before. -
Nah, Wenger without a doubt.

66-1 on Ladbrokes at the mo. Relegation is 33-1 for anyone that wants to cover themselves (Glasgow? Where has he disappeared to recently?)
-
Palace fans will say he was awful but he genuinely didn't get a lot wrong.

Post Match Reaction & MotM: SAINTS 2-0 Crystal Palace

Agreed, I can literally only think of Barca the last few years, Chelsea 05/06 and Arsenals Undefeated team that had complete solidity and an unreal attack. -
Were with us when we were in league one. OK, a bit of loose term with youth players but still Davis, Chambers, Fonte, Shaw, Morgan, Lallana, Ward-Prowse, Lambert. Pretty impressive.
-
So 4 years ago we were on negative points, bottom of league one? Christ.

I think Rodriguez should be used as an alternative to Lambert or Osvaldo from now on, Ward-Prowse and Davis offer us much more creatively than he does. -
Didn't join in with it, having one chant for two players is incredibly lame. Pretty sure Osvaldo and Ramirez were looking at the Saints fans in bemusement when it was being chanted. If we really can't do anything too complicated (even though we had some cracking suggestions in that other thread) then at least do something we don't use, like "Osvaldo our lord" (Marian chant), or "Dani, Dani Osvaldo will score a goal for me" (Heartbeat/Maxi Rodriguez chant), or "Dani Osvaldo, Dani Osvaldo...running down the wing, hear Southampton sing, Dani Osvaldo".

I get the feeling he was already a very rich guy before he'd even heard of Southampton FC. -
He doesn't, he's probably just a bit two-faced. I think the comments he made were nothing more than "Southampton never felt like the right move, but it had to be done" or some such. Maybe we were the only choice and he didn't want to play in the Championship.

Interesting he says he doesn't like matches (mistranslation perhaps?) as I distinctly remember him saying before that he watches every match but gets incredibly nervous when he does so. Maybe that's what he meant instead of simply not liking the matches. -
Explanation on the sh*t incident. Kind of.
-
Which is exactly what most people were saying anyway, it's nothing to do with us so why is there a whole campaign about it? If a Saints player came out here and now, would any Saints fan honestly give a sh*t?
