  1. This should be cringeworthy.
  2. I was about to say the only difference is success, but the City and Chelsea owners have kept themselves to themselves to be fair whereas those two are just complete nutjobs.
  3. Totally agree, he's come too far and put too much into it to walk away over something small. That'd be an interesting twist. He always said that Markus had no involvement whatsoever, so the family trying to get more involved might seem like a bit of an affront to Cortese.
  4. Tweet been deleted now?
  5. Silly comparison, as we COULD have stopped Bale from leaving.
  6. The pope. Likes that we're called the Saints, and head of the richest institution in history.
  7. They keep headlining it on Sky but saying nothing at all about it. Almost as if they don't actually know anything. Me thinks this was another leak in the tug of war between Cortese and the Liebherrs. Who leaked it? We'll probably never know. But I never bet against Cortese anymore.
  8. Who the f*ck has said that? Or are you just making it up?
  9. All being covered buddy, nothing is confirmed yet. I love the idea of him handing in a notice though - is it a week or a months notice?
  10. Which one? Are you assuming that Pochettino is leaving based on something that isn't confirmed?
  11. Embarrassing isn't it. Yes it'd be a big loss, and yes there's a chance a couple of people will be unsure about their future. But the core of the club is still the same. No reason the manager and players can't continue their ambitions without Cortese. I'm gonna stick my neck out and say that I don't think Cortese will leave.
  12. I have a spare ticket should anyone need it, it's a junior though.
  13. It's ironic that Holtby has actually had less impact than Ramirez has, but it's suggested we should sign him and get rid of Gaston.
  14. Hopefully they keep him and keep fining him. It's a shame because he has got the potential to be an effective player in the Prem, but his work ethic is all wrong.
  15. Looking at the next round of fixtures that could be up to 10 by next weekend, that'd be nice.
  16. I think people are underestimating how open the league is this season. Apart from Newcastle I can still see us eventually finishing above any of Everton, United or Spurs.
  17. Originally a day of thanks giving for the failed assassination plot, nothing weird in that.
  18. Randomly stuck on the end with no quotes or context. Any else confused?
  19. Well no, there is the FA cup still.
  20. By end of the match people just mean late on, it wasn't after the final whistle so there weren't hoards of people clogging up the exits. Also, he wasn't taken out through the concourse anyway, he was taken out through the big gate in the chapel/kingsland corner where an ambulance had reversed halfway into the ground. I get what you're saying but I really don't think it would have made a difference.
  21. It says 51,306 at the bottom.
  22. People always say "one injury and that's it" in these scenarios, but when was the last time a player had a career ending injury at that age? And ask youself - what is harder to come by in football this day and age? A left back who could quite easily be as good as Ashley Cole was in his prime, or £30million?
  23. Could tell it was serious even from the northam. Horrible to hear, hope he's ok.
  24. Boruc in goal, guly on the bench :-D
  25. "Who the f*ck is Rudi Skacel"?
