  1. Got an email today about corporate areas, and the most expensive one was £3200 for a box, food, drink and bevvies, and a show after the game with a player interview and the chance to win some signed memorabilia. 10 people per box...is it just me, or does £320 PP seem extremely steep for what's on offer? No mention of it being all you can eat or open bar, either.
  2. The more I think about it, the more the idea of traveling on an exact replica freaks me out a bit. I know it affected a lot of people, but I don't see why it would be tasteless...no different in my mind to some of the things they do in Normandy, recreating trenches, bunkers etc. and charging people to come in and "imagine you were really there"...
  3. People commenting on announcements from party pages.
  4. And for every one person in that bracket, there is a youngster sitting around on JSA, perhaps claiming child benefits. Is the free bus pass JUST for retired people or for everyone over the age of 60?
  5. This I haven't played in about 5 years, except little kick abouts. Edit, how early in the morning are we talking here?
  6. To be honest the bits I've seen all looked pretty positive. Still got people raging on my facebook news feed, although that is to be expected...it's as if people want a government that will deliver a utopian society. Ain't gonna happen.
  7. He's drafted them in because we have so many players away on internationals, that's all.
  8. I saw he'd edited a post, what did he say?
  9. I think he's just grounded... "There's no point in me cleaning my room because the next day it's just back to the same old mess "
  10. It's funny how some people get so wound up when they're wrong.
  11. Scotland is welcome to you. Jesus f*cking christ.
  12. I'd imagine there isn't a team in the country that wouldn't like to sign him if they could.
  13. You do realise that should Wigan win their other game in hand, West Ham will be 3 points (a one game swing) above the relegation zone?
  14. Related to this, I wonder why there was no thread slating Shaw after the free-kick that went straight to a Liverpool player on saturday and nearly (possibly should have, as Sturridge wasn't offside) resulted in a goal? If it had been Fox you can be damn well sure there would be 6-7 pages about it. Similarly, had Guly messed up the one on one Lambert did...
  15. Neither is Seaborne or Harding, or Hooiveld at LB for that matter. Personally I think Fox is more than capable at LB for a lower Prem team.
  16. I don't give a f*ck about any of that. It'll be funny because of the way West Ham fans were so smug after beating us 4-1 at their place, and also because of your comment about them being as safe as United.
  17. Seeing as Adkins has always been about honesty, respect and integrity and Pochettino (since coming in) has said that Adkins did a great job and he has the utmost respect for him, I think it's safe to say they will greet each other as normal...shake hands, chat for a bit, get on with the game.
  18. I seem to remember them saying he was overrated when they beat us 3-1?
  19. It would be hilarious if West Ham went down now, for several reasons.
  20. I think you mean 46%
  21. Interesting that in the half an hour he played, Hooiveld won 100% of all tackles, headers, shoulder to shoulder challenges....everything.
  22. This has been posted before, but I agree with this anyway. He had one outstanding season and the rest were OK.
  23. What about the crunching tackle down by the Liverpool corner flag near the end of the game?
  24. Is that all!? From what I've seen of Reading on TV they haven't looked anywhere close to selling out, seems strange we wouldn't get more than that...
