  1. Fake, but very funny all the same.
  2. "Come on you whites"?
  3. Not a given that they'll lose though. A draw - or even a narrow defeat whilst playing well - will give them even more confidence. They'll especially have more belief in their ability to score now.
  4. I know a lot of people wanted the bottom 2 to be cut adrift a bit more, but this result could easily give Sunderland a big lift.
  5. Because the price is listed on the website, plus they ALWAYS confirm the ticket price and booking fee before finalising the transaction?
  6. You're kidding...?
  7. We certainly looked more likely to score earlier in the season...but perhaps we've sacrificed a part of that for the defensive solidity we've seen?
  8. Really hope Lallana is back by february at the latest. Would hate to go too long without him.
  9. 0-0 draw with Sessengon being sent off.
  10. I thought the same, we should definitely be enquiring. Why wouldn't they? It's not like he's a massive part of their squad.
  11. I was actually a lot more worried about Reading than I am about Sunderland.
  12. Just another shameless attempt to appeal to the Asian market. Poor show Nicola.
  13. I remember when we were in league one we didn't renew contracts until near the end of the season.
  14. Jesus. Just how bad do you think Rodriguez is, then?
  15. Match Replay on sky. They show about 40 minutes worth of highlights, or (if it's the "game of the day") the entire match. Game of the day thankfully is not picked beforehand so Saints have been on there a couple of times, Villa and QPR.
  16. I think Fonte was the captain with Lallana off the pitch. In the second half he was certainly much more vocal than I've seen him, organising everyone and calming the team down in the final 10 minutes.
  17. I see McDermott said in his post match interview that this was the "poorest we'd played" in their run in so far. Good to see we're returning to opposition always having "off days" against us...
  18. Yes, but that was out of hundreds voting, which means there were quite a few people who were unhappy with him (although I don't believe for a second this forum is representative of the fanbase).
  19. Could tell from the scream alone that he'd done some damage.
  20. A centreback. As much as Fonte and Yoshida have improved over recent weeks, we need quality back up and - perhaps almost as important - competition for places to spur them on. Look at how much the likes of Hammond and Chaplow improved when Cork was brought in, how Lambert stepped up with Rodriguez breathing down his neck...and how effective Guly has been knowing that he's skating on very thin ice here with J-Rod and Mayuka in the squad and Lee waiting in the wings. It's a shame Hooiveld choked as I believe he could have settled as others have, but we can't really afford to take the risk. Get another centre back in and we will see a dramatic improvement across the three already here, IMO. As for left back, I honestly don't think it's a problem anymore. Shaw is quality, Fox is solid when called upon and if things get desperate Clyne can hold his own with Richardson at right back. If we can sign a proven Prem keeper then great, but if not stick with what we've got. As far as midfield and attack are concerned...it's all looking good. If we're going to sign anyone there they should be young, hungry with bags of potential, ready to grow with the rest of the squad.
  21. Surely for security purposes you cannot leave baggage unattended? Or is that just the sensible countries that enforce that policy?
  22. Nah, all footballers bring out autobiographies in their early 20s now, the less successful ones later on (but usually before they retire). Because of the exposure they will ALWAYS sell. And then when they retire they get to release another one...with a few more in between if they win a league, cup or european competition, or recover from an addiction.
  23. Clean sheet should be the aim here. We need to build on our improvements, not let ourselves slip back. Although Reading are in the same boat we were in, where they're so poor defensively they hold nothing back when attacking...so we could get caught out on the break.
