  1. There was one game where we had about 10 corners in the first half and they were all terrible Other than that, a big improvement.
  2. The one thing I think doesn't help the racism issue is that it's not a 2 way thing. I'm 23, white, straight, British and male. It seems I would not be taken seriously with any sort of offence towards me. It's basically okay and accepted to say anything about my age, colour, sexuality and/or gender. The 'Come Dine With Me' comment above is a good example. If a white person said that to a black person, there would be uproar! If you watch a lot of African-American comedians, they get away with a lot of racism. If it was a white person, it wouldn't be allowed. This in my opinion is what causes racism in our society.
  3. Prem prices are what put me off. Did you see the QPR price rises? I've had a ST for 18 years now, but a 40% rise would put me off!
  4. Yet if they hadn't taken it so seriously and something went wrong, you lot would be up in arms about how useless they are! Well done cops for looking to take the publics saftey first, then having a sense of humour when the trusth was realised.
  5. I think WHEN we get back to the prem, everyone will hear us singing it, remember that it's our and maybe it wont be so popular with others.
  6. Theres me thinking he didn't care
  7. Erm, I cant tell if this is a joke or not. I'm going to guess not and that you're just the village idiot. 1. Sing it because it's like throwing it back in their face. It's called banter. 2. The words 'skates' doesn't fit as it's one syllable. The word requires 2 syllables. Hence 'pompey' and 'laughing' work!......'num nuts' LOLZZZZ!!!!111111111one We could use 'skates back down' but I like the laughing one more now anyway
  8. What were you searching to find this?
  9. Part of me doesn't want him to go. Less chance of injury/burn out and less chance of seeing what the big boys earn and fancy a move away.
  10. I got pulled for going through an amber light near the British Gas building. Copper: What does an amber light mean? Me: Stop if you're within a speed and distance to do so safely (Had a smug look on my face which was a mistake) Copper: Then why didn't you stop? Me: Becuase it's wet and I was about 3 feet away from the light when it went amber He proceeded to check absolutely everything on me and my car as well as searching me. Brilliant feeling knowing he could do absolutely nothing despite being an arsehole. That said, had a bit of a run in out in town a couple of weeks back and the coppers were absolutely class. Used common sense which was a breath of fresh air.
  11. I REALLY hope we play them towards the end of the season when it loks like they're going to get relegated. The main reason is for this... 'Sha la la la la la la la *clap clap* Sha la la la la la la la *clap clap* Sha la la la la la la la *clap clap* We're gonna send the pompey down!' For 45 minutes straight!
  12. Woolston Ferry!
  13. Looks quality but it's not ours. Why not come up with out own unique celebration?
  14. I like this idea. I would stick with my ST but can see why people would take this up.
  15. Top 2 would be awesome and I think it would be unfair to 'expect' that. Play-offs would be realistic. 2 wins over pompey and finishing above them will compensate for anything less.
  16. I do like Dickson. Seems to really enjoy being here.
  17. Would have to be guildhall square. Could fit bloody 1000s of people there.
  18. I thought he was ok. You have to remember, this was quite clearly a family sort of day and he is clearly entertaining to kids. The enthusiasm in his voice sounds like he's always talking to the under 10s I've met him a couple of times (well, been around while people I know talk to him) and he seems like a nice guy. He just can't keep still when talking which I find uncomfortable. I too liked Mike Osman.
  19. If I saw either of these players acting in the same manner, I would accept it to be honest. In my opinion, they have a reason to be more arrogant. I saw James Beattie acting like an idiot a couple of weeks ago in the same place. He wasn't looking for fights but was being arrogant. Difference is, it's kind of justified. Obviously hitting a woman unprovoked (by the woman) is wrong no matter who it is.
  20. It helped he shouted everything at the top of his voice. I hung around outside to see what was going on and heard what was being said. I don't get your point. It was upstairs in 90 degrees. If you've been, you'd know it's not big. I was sat about 10 feet from his table so it was hard to miss him pushing everyone around asking for fights.
  21. I can honestly, hand on heart say I have never done anything as stupid as him. I've had my share of bust ups but I have never acted like he did all evening. He was getting by on his 'name' winding everyone up within earshot until someone finally landed one on him. To which he responded by hitting an innocent female and spitting blood at police. Lovely bloke though....
  22. I was there and know what I saw. I'm happy for whatever I have said to be taken further (Libel) as the police and cctv will prove everything. And it seems I wasnt the only witness. They weren't looking to press charges against Forecast, just like Forecast wasn't looking to take it further as its more trouble than it's worth. I heard the police say something along the lines of 'Put it down to a bad experience on a night out and move on' wise words.
  23. Got a whole 4 touches and one of those was getting tackled. Celebrated his first touch to the northam, no one responded. Surprised he made the game with the state he was in last night. But then again, I expect the rest of the squad were at some sort of party (he just clearly wasn't invited)
  24. Yes he did
  25. I was there, saw it all. The girl was with one of the guys that smacked Tommy. She didn't direct any abuse to him, he just lashed out at her as she was the closest (and he probably knew she wouldn't hit him back) He was looking for fights all evening, and when he found one, he lost. Then turned on someone defenseless. Also, he was spitting his blood at everyone. Including police.
