I know. However the conference sides rely on the income from tickets and push it as far as possible. Even though we dont exactly rely on ticket sales, we would actually make more money if they dropped the prices for cup games. Keep going the way we are and the next generation of fans won't happen. They'll grow up watching the big sides on tv and support them.

Very true. Something I noticed when speaking to people over there was how little they knew of anything outside of America (apart from stereotypes). Geography is generally appalling. Watching their news made it clear why. One question we always had fun asking American was "who won the Vietnam war?" - They all answer with "we did".

Now taken on Saints (after Chicago Fire) after becoming friends, coming to Southampton a few times and finally going to their first PL game when we thrashed Liverpool last year.
