Golden Balls

My guess would be people see Wigan and go, 'Nah, they're literally the least attractive game of the season' 10,000 people from Dorset are waiting for the Villa game. Bet it sells out though...

I'd be very surprised if De Ridder plays much this season. Really don't rate him

I do think he has more of an impact out wide. when he only has 1 player to take on he makes things happen. In the middle he doesn't get enough space

If NA does well, he'll be poached by a bigger club. If he doesn't, he'll be sacked. I'd be very surprised if he's still our manager next season.

Easily in the build up

RIP. Got a few pictures with him. Always started off the party in Jaks when it was popular and really nice guy

Will be on in most pubs and bar in Southampton. Personally I'll be soaking up the atmosphere in either Avondale or Varsity

Shocking they didn't sell out such a small ground in their time of need after so long without football. Bestest n all that

What an exciting day so far

Well I guess he hasn't signed yet so wont be available for City if he does

Turkish, stop it. I keep finding myself agreeming with you. Feels odd

I can see us going 1-0 up or equalising, which will be a nice celebration but still lose

Seems logical. When things are too good to be true, they USUALLY are

No point 'accepting' a loss. But I can't help feel we'd have done well if we only lose by 2. More than that and it's a thrashing

Ramirez woooooooaaa Ramirez woooooooaaa He comes from Uruguay He made the scousers cry

It's euros but the Liverpool fans seem baffled on twitter

Yep. Same

Still a lot and clearly better value than Jarvis. Just feels strange that we could spend that much.

£15m? Us? I seriously can't see it

And the overall standard of the 2nd tier has improved dramatically since then too.

Would be very pleased with this but think Blackpool will reject

I haven't read much of this thread as I don't have time so apologies if I'm repeating what's been said. My feeling for a while has been that now Markus is unfortunately not with us, getting funding is harder and takes longer going through the family.

The fat lady is just clearing her throat

It will be just like having a new signing

Stranger things have happened....but we will lose this by a number of goals, and baring a freak result the day before, we'll be sitting at the bottom of the table. Nothing to worry about though.
