A lot of academy players seemed to rave about George Prost. He got them playing some wonderful football and a lot of players were promoted to the first team while he was here.

Depends how Cortese has sold it to them. He seems pretty convinced of getting into Europe so we would become even more of an asset then. Also, they seemed a pretty tight family. Maybe the children are happy to contiune living out Markus' dream? Finally, for people with their wealth, owning a football club is a drop in the ocean in terms of expense. Nicola is doing the leg work so they have nothing to worry about. We will be sold one day....I just don't see it happening for a while.

Yep. I like Bournemouth and always hope they do well. Remember the PA announcement at SMS a few years ago announcing AFCB had been promoted and our fans applauding. Shame their chairman and a small number of their fans are tossers though.

He is a pretty bad player. He has pace yes, but he can't do anything with the ball. I'd love him to prove me wrong but I just don't see it

Yep. It's when he had his twitter outburst. I said something along the lines of how grateful he should be to be in a position millions could only dream of and how he's not bigger than sfc.

I'm not his biggest fan. So much so he's even blocked me on twitter after he was being a nob. But he has had a great pre season and looked to work well with Clyne. Hopefully he can be consistent

Was good to hear Barry Davis back

Just back from the game. We did okay. First 15 minutes we let Wolves have a lot of possession up until the final 3rd. We then picked it up a bit. Lallana seemed to be playing either central or in a free role but was nowhere near as effective. Puncheon had a great game. If he can be consistent he will be a real asset. Jack Stephens played centre back and didn't have the greatest game. We did give Wolves 3 very good chances which will be punished in the prem. We do seem to lack ideas without Lambert still. Gazza made one good save and seems confidant with the ball at his feet. De Ridder was shocking when he came on.

Been on various versions of this board since 2000ish. I think the main difference is that pettiness, baiting, 'banter' and p1ss taking were restricted to the threads they should be on, and serious threads were kept that way. Ah for the good old days of Master Bates' bewbs, Wilde becoming a member and Rupert Lowe employing people to post positive stuff about him. AmyGate was probably the peak of the Internet in general
