You get denied entry. I think you can go to the TO and pay the difference for the one game. Happened to a friend of a friend at an away game. He purchased a teen ticket, got questioned and was sent to the ticket office to pay the extra fiver for an adult ticket. Seems fair

A big advantage to having the swipe cards is that we can bring back instalment payments. Those who cancel their direct debt will have the ST swipe card cancelled and a charge of £25 added. I'd rather they kept stewards at the gate, especially at the beginning when people aren't sure what to do and when there can be technical problems. Seems logical

Hardly any. But that's not why I said anyway. If you read what I said again, it said that we won't attract current Pompey fans. My point was the fair weather fans, the fans without a club, kids just getting into football, PL fans, and there are plenty of those in the PO post code. Especially in the towns the middle of us and them. Nobody is suggesting Pompey fans will switch to Saints fans!!

I don't share this opinion. I'd rather she didn't like football. Then I get time away to go to/watch football. Lad time. I'd hate my missus to come to every game with me. You just have to set the president early. Miss it once for her and she'll expect that to happen all the time. Never miss it, and she'll expect to be alone on Saturdays

Excuse me? What's made up? Why wouldn't we want to grab the rest? Expand our hardcore fan base. We've already done that by moving to SMS. I don't see the logic in not wanting to attract new fans. Especially kids.

He's just being made an example of. Everyone can see this is well over the top but they seem to be coming down hard on social media. He'll probably have it reduced to 18 months and then serve half of that. However the 'kids' on Facebook and Twitter will only have seen the 3 years inside, and think twice about posting. That's the aim anyway.

I'm not talking about filling a bigger stadium. My point was catchment area. Portsmouth still counts. Yes we'd get a smaller ratio from there but it's not to be discounted. Especially the towns inbetween. I could quite easily see a train load coming from the east if we remain PL and they remain where they are. I know plenty of people from Southampton who went to watch pompey in the PL. They weren't Saints or pompey fans. Just crappy PL fans. believe me, theres loads of them. I also know 2 people who were born in, schooled in and lived in Southampton their whole lives. They are both Pompey fans. They both went along to Fratton before they were really 'into' football just to see the PL. They are now hardcore pompey fans. I doubt they are the only 2. Like someone said, hardcores will come no matter what, we need to grab and hook the rest. And remember, not everyone that lives in Portsmouth is from portsmouth. They wont be loyal to pompey. When I lived in Plymouth, I went to see Torquay play just becuase it was football close by.

So everyone from Portsmouth supports Portsmouth and everyone from Southampton supports Southampton? We have no chance of attracting current pompey fans. No one is saying that. However there are general football fans, PL fans, unloyal kids and people who are not born and bred pomp*y. So yes, there is a chance of attracting support from a PO post code. Not 1000s, but some. Especially those towns between the 2 cities

Nobody said Portsmouth fans would become Southampton fans. And if they did, they're stupid. They wont. I think the point was casual football fans from Portsmouth or living down that way would fall into the catchment area, and be tempted to come to SMS for PL football. That will natually happen. Not everyone in Portsmouth supports pomp*y, despite what the best fans in the world™ will tell you
