Didn't Wolves make loads of noise when 5-0 to Man Utd? Does that now make them the bestest fans in the world ™ for the next 7 years? Also, Bilbaos fans applauded Ryan Giggs off the pitch the other week. Surely they are in for a shout of it. I mean, both of these were on TV, and a few people even made a passing mention as to how good it was. Just like 7 years ago when Pompey were on TV. I hear a few people mention how the Stoke fans are loud sometimes.....surely that means they're the loudest ever? No? Keep clutching at those straws Skates, everyone is laughing at you.

Agreed. We need to cash in on the feel good factor. We left it far too late last time and as it died down, so did people enthusiasm. Also, if we're doing installment plans this time, it would be a good idea to get them started asap. A lot of people wont want an extra bill in December when xmas shopping. Don't give people time to think about it and get the cash in the bank early.

I can't help but think if I wasn't a Saints fan, I'd be looking at the table and thinking "it's theirs" But I am a Saints fan so I still can't relax. I still had slight doubts after we beat Plymouth last season!

I agree that's the only place we seem to be lacking in terms of quality back up. I don't think Martin coming in would be the end of the world though. He started those first 8 or 9 games we won at the begining of the season. Not sure where Seaborne is along the way of getting back to first team action. I really wouldn't be too happy seeing Jaidi there. As much as I love him and how well he did last year, we would get torn a new one if we came up against pace.

Like many others, I'm a Saints fan so I'm convinced we will blow it. I would love it to be us, Reading and Brighton that go up. Would be brilliant for the South and some great away games. It will also take a lot of attention away from Adkins. The media will lick Poyet and McDermots bums and put them in line for bigger jobs before Adkins.

Tried getting this going when De Ridder first joined. All I got was funny looks.

My (very) small claim to fame is that Phil Warners dad went out with my mum during the time Warner was at Saints. Only ever saw him play for us twice. Both against Spurs. Once at home when we gained our first point of the season in a 1-1 draw (Ruel Fox scoring for them, Le Tiss for us) and once away when I think we drew 1-1 again. I remember Le Tiss scoring a free kick and Jurgen Klinsmann scoring. Also went with his dad to watch him play for Brentford when he was on loan there.

Nothing wrong with banter but like you say, there is a line. That line is getting crossed far too often. We saw it recently with Billy Sharps twitter. Also that guy from Wales the other day who went too far with the Muamba tweets. Fortunately these people are now being exposed and it may start to put people off. Find it odd in that programme that the trolls seem to be in their 40s and dedicating their lives to trolling. Very sad
