Golden Balls

Like many others, I'm a Saints fan so I'm convinced we will blow it. I would love it to be us, Reading and Brighton that go up. Would be brilliant for the South and some great away games. It will also take a lot of attention away from Adkins. The media will lick Poyet and McDermots bums and put them in line for bigger jobs before Adkins.

Tried getting this going when De Ridder first joined. All I got was funny looks.

My (very) small claim to fame is that Phil Warners dad went out with my mum during the time Warner was at Saints. Only ever saw him play for us twice. Both against Spurs. Once at home when we gained our first point of the season in a 1-1 draw (Ruel Fox scoring for them, Le Tiss for us) and once away when I think we drew 1-1 again. I remember Le Tiss scoring a free kick and Jurgen Klinsmann scoring. Also went with his dad to watch him play for Brentford when he was on loan there.

Nothing wrong with banter but like you say, there is a line. That line is getting crossed far too often. We saw it recently with Billy Sharps twitter. Also that guy from Wales the other day who went too far with the Muamba tweets. Fortunately these people are now being exposed and it may start to put people off. Find it odd in that programme that the trolls seem to be in their 40s and dedicating their lives to trolling. Very sad

I honestly dont get these comments about not wanting to be in the prem. It generally seems it's becuase we will lose more. But to not be in the Prem we will have to lose more. The only difference is that we'd be losing in the Championship rather than the Premier League. Would you rather sit around mid table in the Championship becuase we 'could' win it....but then you wouldn't want to as it means we go up. Strange. I'd love to see us up there. Slogging it with the big boys, causing the odd shock and going on genuine cup runs. We can never ever move forward as a club if we never go up.

Basingstoke is definately north. Depends what percentage of your life you've been there I guess.

At my mates house in Plymouth on his sofa with SaintsPlayer on and SSN on mute. Went mad for about 5 seconds then quickly remembered their recent late goals against us. Just as good was when we equalised, at that very same moment Leeds scored against West Ham.

Why wouldn't we want to be promoted? Yes we wont win the league....but then if we dont win the championship, guess what....we haven't won that league either. Makes no sense. It's pretty much saying "I dont want to win this league becuase we wont win the league above it" If we don't go up, we will lose so many players and we will never be able to build. Also, being a premier league team, you have a much better chance at winning a trophy. The only negitive in my eyes will be the price. I pray that Cortese is sensible, especially to those fans who have been going thoughtout the hard times.

They also had a 'Fans Reunited' thing today. Much like Plymouth did with Brighton. I would think the opposite. If he was stable, they would say. If the worst has happened, then his family have to be informed before it goes public.

This really doesn't look good. CPR on the pitch, not breathing when being carried down the tunnel. I would be shocked if the worst isn't confirmed. Really hope he can pull though. Hope and pray he makes it. 23 years old

This thread will not stop about 10 chavs singing it loudly, then others claiming our whole set of fans sang it. If anyone hears it, shout a pro Saints song as loud as you can and drawn them out.
