I honestly dont get these comments about not wanting to be in the prem. It generally seems it's becuase we will lose more. But to not be in the Prem we will have to lose more. The only difference is that we'd be losing in the Championship rather than the Premier League. Would you rather sit around mid table in the Championship becuase we 'could' win it....but then you wouldn't want to as it means we go up. Strange. I'd love to see us up there. Slogging it with the big boys, causing the odd shock and going on genuine cup runs. We can never ever move forward as a club if we never go up.

Why wouldn't we want to be promoted? Yes we wont win the league....but then if we dont win the championship, guess what....we haven't won that league either. Makes no sense. It's pretty much saying "I dont want to win this league becuase we wont win the league above it" If we don't go up, we will lose so many players and we will never be able to build. Also, being a premier league team, you have a much better chance at winning a trophy. The only negitive in my eyes will be the price. I pray that Cortese is sensible, especially to those fans who have been going thoughtout the hard times.

I would think the opposite. If he was stable, they would say. If the worst has happened, then his family have to be informed before it goes public.

I go to IOW every year mainly for the atmosphere. Missing it this year though. Didn't really like Reading when I went. V was ok but chavy. Boardmasters was good last year, although it somehow made me feel old. Hoping I can blag some free tickets to something through work.

I imagine the club would have taken stuff to auction that were left over after the fans had torn the place apart. The sign I sat under was definately gone within 15 minutes of the final whistle. Maybe the one you saw was from one of the other refreshment bars. Still would have liked that but not as sentimental as the actual sign I sat under for so long.
