The AL of the 2nd half of last season was a disappointment. That does not make him a bad player suddenly (IMHO). However, BECAUSE he has so much talent, to see him not playing to that level IS disappointing. I don't think even he can be happy with that, maybe the injury (ies) have set him back we don't know the full story on the last couple of years. What I want to see is NOT a replacement for Adam, but the OLD Adam back playing at his best in the PL. The point (again IMHO) is that towards the end of last season he was not at his best and I WANT HIM TO GET BACK TO IT. If it is mental/confidence then that needs work. IF it is because of his knock then THAT needs work. IF it is too many nights out then that needs work. The point I believe is that the real AL is the first name on the teamsheet. The AL of the end of last season is NOT the first name and IF he is going to stay like that THEN we may need a replacement
