When Daughter went to Uni the easiest (and cheapest) way to give her a monthly allowance was for me to get a UK Credit Card and give her a supplementary card with a limit of her allowance. I then set up to pay in full each month Now the card was used for 3 years and I was charged a total of 27 quid for Card Protection Insurance. When she left I simply cancelled the card. Two weeks ago I received 187 quid because I was an expat and had been sold an insurance that was invalid for my status. 160 quid in Interest and "Compensation" for something I knew nothing about. I love British Banks. That 187 quid is the cost of my airmiles ticket to Heathrow, the cost of my ticket away to Norwich and my share of the petrol. The day with my Mum then comes free = Priceless Hope the lads give me as good a result on the day

Strewth. What an incredibly complicated task. Honey, I need you to pick around 300 minutes of music for our wedding. You have from age 4 up to age 90. you have 100 Polish People and around 60 Brits. You have a mix of Germans, Hungarians and Americans as well so the music has to cater to the tastes of around 180 people. You need to pick music that they can dance to, sing-a-long to. You need Slow Dances, you need Dad Dancing tracks for when the Vodka has kicked in. And I need the list in 3 days... Crikey Strewth what a wicked game to play. But there ain't no stopping us now, making sure the guests have good times as FMDP & I head out on our highway to hell. Have to make sure they don't sit down all night long and let's dance one more time. Make sure I’ve got the power so we can be dancing in the dark and the love hangover lasts into a blue monday but when it comes to making sure the music sounds better with you I'm worried FMDP will say I can't go for that (no can do).
