  1. If a poll had been carried out one day before the Man City game, comparing the quality of Saints player by position vs the quality of Citeh player by position the consensus would have been that Citeh had far better quality players than Saints and were a better team.
  2. Ouch. I mean really, OUCH
  3. OMG Bearsy You could be onto something This article wasn't written by no Tara We all know only one Journalist who writes one sentence paragraphs #factlessallen Neil Allen is outed as fancying MP.... Wow never saw that happening
  4. Didn't dubai_phil mention this a few weeks ago, or am I going completely bonkers? Anything remotely anti-PDT and they have to get 'tough' on it Hang on Corpy, you started a thread by mentioning something you heard on Express FM... Sounds like their fanbase... I used to go to Fatpipes Park, but because of the inane drivel, I gave up quite some time ago... And now onto #factlessallen and his twitter poll If he looks at this thread (which we know he does ), he'd see that most nutjobs prefer the PDT bid for the lol value One or two skates beginning to see #factlessallen for what he really is Totally. My analysis/guess/interpretation of events is something along the lines of The issue back in October/November was that TB believed the Trust & HNW's were the real deal. As such he refused to speak to a group that had a solution to get them a clean club and money to run them. TB (IMHO) felt pretty certain he had all the politics and paperwork he needed to win the court case to set a valuation for the ground (remember that anyone?) Somehow or another Robinson (lots of jibes by me at the time about his Mrs) manouvered himself into a position where something went wrong in the relationship with TB at the Court Hearing and the whole thing fell apart and became a discussion between the varying parties. Suddenly TB was looking at a black hole, no set date where he could force the sale/land valuation through and (oops) he had reached his cap on the fees he could take out the club. Suddenly he talked to anyone and everyone - at indistry events and to people who had been trying to talk to him before. TB backed a horse that went lame and needed treatment. realised the game could take months (it has) fired all the players HE had signed in a bid to get them back to the Championship. Then (of course) TB suddenly found himself hoisted by his petard. He had done such a good job on the Politics, NOBODY was going to listen to another consortium deal. Catalogue of errors. He said trust or bust Oh I have changed my mind....
  5. Gemster. A club playing in non-league with no debt and a clean ownership IS a viable business. The BEST chance of getting the maximum for the CVA holders is now simply to take a share of any profits when nottarf is redeveloped. That FL statement simply makes it easier to sell to the man with the most money on the table for the CVA the fastest. IF Harris has any brains he will know that and that is what he will be working on.
  6. On the subject of hamsters, did he fall off his long boat?
  7. Now, here is the interesting rub. The last deal was brokered by Harris. In that deal, CSI actually BORROWED the money from chinny to buy the club from chinny.... He couldn't pull the same gag again SURELY not
  8. Precisely
  9. Mate of mine has spent last 2 years on a contract in Delhi. He works 3 months on one month off 12 hour days. He is a Yank. He is now a world expert on the nuances and laws of Cricket. He normally lasts about 5 days after an R&R break before he starts to hallucinate. By the time he leaves for R&R he is a raving madman. Until he has had a 24 Ounce Porterhouse Steak. When he leaves next month he has made it his sworn duty in life to brutally murder ANYONE who ever offers him Chicken for dinner HTH
  10. Got your Madchester 2 Beach party Ticket yet?
  11. BBC Solent Sport ‏@solentsport The #Pompey Supporters Trust have also said "why would we want only 15% of the club when we are about to get 100%"
  12. I am convinced that is doctored footage. The dancer has been given fake long hair and stretched to look fatter. I am sure I have similar footage of Eric headbanging to Travis at Sandance last year with the same epic fail.....
  13. Well, IF they go down that road, then perhaps we could chip in 50 quid each to get a lawyer to review the submissions made to Court by Storrie while they were STILL in the PL and DENIED that they were trading insolvently. The simple fact that they SHOULD have been liquidated AND should have had officers of the company jailed at THAT time is missed down the road. The Points deductions should NEVER have been needed. Also with it being some 3+ years ago, they'd have been a lot closer to promotion back into L2 and on the up with their pheonix club and clean of all the hangers on
  14. Armageddon will always be the greatest movie ever made. Not for the storyline, Liv or Bruce, or even that damned song. Simply because Paris gets wiped out in the first few minutes. I still remember the cheer in the cinema when that happened. There was ONLY one plot twist that could have made it better. Unfortunately the planet simply wouldn't have found Gunwharf so instantly recognisable
  15. Shaw seems to have had a "massive weekend" according to Twitter. Luke Shaw ‏@Luke_shaw3 Best weekend in a long time Expand Included a big night out at Nandos.....
  16. Phew, what a good job nobody connected in any way with the PDT has done or said anything to upset their new partners.....
  17. I was reliably informed that Paul Jones had a better bottom than Tim Flowers.
  18. Here's an interesting stat about wham They keep that up they will struggle to get to 40 points...
  19. 12,000 (ish) For a knock about mid week friendly featuring a couple of old has beens having a bit of a laugh. And what are the skates currently averaging for proper football matches?
  20. Crwod was surprisingly larger than (certainly we) expected. We rolled up late from College & could only get in under the East Stand. I remember Greavsie - he was the main reason we went - didn't remember the other players mentioned. Didn't the ex Leeds keeper David Harvey play in goal for them that day?
  21. This is all very well, but Old Nick & I looked bloody good on the touchline in the forum games... Lot of good we did the First Team..... Fashion points are one thing. Style is another. But we still need 13 more REAL POINTS at least this season
  22. And we're very modest and shy and retiring as well
  23. Chill gang. It's OK. You have EoA & D_P. There truly are no celebs bigger than us on the planet
