  1. You make a fair point, BUT, an interesting Statistic would be (MLG where are you?) How many Evening Televised games at SMS sold out when were used to be in the PL? How many tickets have Reading taken? And, FWIW, it's costing me around 650 quid to get back for 3 days JUST to watch the Coventry game, so I can be excused missing this one on Friday.
  2. What sort of fans ARE you lot? You haven't even sold out Corporate yet? C'mon I mean, it's ONLY 150 quid (+VAT) Don't y'all have expense accounts FFS?
  3. They WERE a big club, once upon a time. But then so were Preston North End & Huddersfield. But THEY don't go on and on about it
  4. Time for this one again methinks
  5. Pete & Dud on HMS Ark Royal was better on the PTS
  6. Let me spell check that previous post Gus Poyet is a TV pundit of the lowest quality. He is inarticulate, unclear due to his strong accent, anything but concise, and so cannot ever be called well spoken and he slouches all the time so he doesn't even present himself very well. He is always a mess wearing some cheap Chinese suit, and always causes the Ladies in the pub to turn their heads to avoid the horror of having to look at him when he is on. yeah, that's better Oh and his team's a crock of.......
  7. Listening to the Reading 'taters, nerves seem to pervade the entire set up. Look at how many chances Brighton created tonight. Then imagine Sharp or Rickie on the end of them. They put a lot into that game and their resources were stretched tonight. If anything that result & game gives me more confidence going into Friday's game. Shame it's on Sky....... Although I remember the early days of Friday night Sky at the Dell...... We never seemed to lose those televised games. One cracker against the scousers springs to mind
  8. Over the bar and a corner Nooo that was never a corner arrrgh and the final whistle has blown and Reading taters go nuts
  9. Hail Mary time for Brighton
  10. Another hairy moment there on BBC Radio Berkshire If I were you I'd go to bed
  11. It's BRIGHTON. No way am I typing a google search for Sexy Priests
  12. Still Brighton have had 5 shots on target & most have been cracking saves by Federici Keepers don't often have two blinders in 4 days
  13. I'm not sure I can take much more of this I'm getting prematurely old. ENjoying the Reading Taters - sounds more like listening to Henley Regatta
  14. Finally a Pen to Brighton - they only had to fould te striker 10 times to get it given though And Barnes Scores Not of course. The taters called it, no run up nothing nada nicht
  15. Yeah apparently the Producers or something. It has that SotD feel to it. It could have been better, some critics moaned not enough horror/gore/humour, but I thought the balance was just right. It felt WRONG laughing at a life or death chase and someone getting eaten, it felt cliched the - you go and look line but they all just worked. Nick Frost has a small part playing a Stoner you know you've seen that scene/lines before but the "Is it safe yet?" "No" "Ah, OK" line again just cracks up a "very tense" moment
  16. Ref sounds a shocker - Reading taters giving him stick for not giving obvious FK's to Brighton Sounds like he is losing control Someone could get Red here
  17. Excelent read well done
  18. Right Another nice sunny day currently 26C Pleasant Murgh Tikka Masala at Tuesday Night Par 3 night, late arrival - sorry but it was Game of Thrones night here Reading taters - what a cure for insomnia they are

  20. My parents had one when we were kids down near New Milton/Highcliff/Christcurch somewhere. (Never more than a 40 minute journey even on August Bank Holiday which meant we used it far more) It was on a site with a river. You could get one day fishing permits from the camp site shop. It was that which I remember more than anything, sunny days was the beach, but the not so good ones and even in the winter there was always fishing. Of course we never actually casught anything more than the odd midget thing, BUT it was just something we as kids could go off and do. Sure it had a pool and "games room" but they were always packed out - but also when you think it through what use is that on a cold windy Bank Holiday weekend?. Find a site with more than just the pool would be my advice - are the kids "big walkers" or are they PS3 freaks? - 'cos you won't find them enjoying long beach rambles on windy days which would rather spoil the whole point. Then work out the maths. Sign up to one of those clubs and stay in different places or be fixed and hope to get a return.
  21. Poyet also shows great mastery of Psychological warfare skills. He clearly is an expert on all aspects of Sun Tzu.
  22. Damn, now where have we heard that before? lolz
  23. Well, based on Empirical evidence/Deja Vu, this is going to be a draw. Yeah, unfortunately it's lining up the same as last weekend - The night before - Eagles gig (as opposed to Kaiser Chiefs), leaving another hangover on matchday. Only possible change of circumstances is that I have a longer recovery time this Friday - 10:45 pm kick off instead of 4pm. (Might allow me to keep up with Eric in the pub) It is that time of year, this stuff comes thick and fast before the empty summer months. Take the opportunity, secure the points/pints.... Because the following week I'll be nowhere near any 'puter as am on future son in law's stag weekend..... Sorry, what was I thinking. Nobody could keep up with Eric in the pub on match days Getting away from Superstitions? I think Saturday allowed us to recover our swagger. Think it will be a case of "Hello Boys, we're back" Guly to come on as sub and hit a screamer winner
