  1. The intriguing thing to then speculate on is this alleged 7 million payment mentioned in some of the previous cut & pastes from the land registry. Player signings Wages Operating Costs Health & Safety Improvements All should be capable of being met within an 8 mil budget (Saints pre admin burn rate was 6mil a year even after Rupert cut costs by 30%). Their Arena will not be as expensive to run as SMS no doubt. BUT that is not the money to turn round "Overpaid Names" into a cohesive unified team, and it leaves a question about whether there was a separate Cap Expenditure budget for this 7 mil or if that is eating into the figure more. Anyway the evidence shows a survival mode, not billionaire level investment (See the troll's post about Al Fahim being at nottarf krap while we were in admin) The club could be turned around, it will take time and a LOT of Rally Round and support the troops as we do this PR - we have seen NOTHING like that to date on facebook (I mean REALLY???!) IMHO unless CSI see a Property Development Profit to fund it and line their pockets THEY won't be spending 100 mil on a new Arena. No wonder they are fixing the bogs
  2. Sorry but you have just proven yourself to be an ignorant MORON. I have been the one all the way through this who has been telling everyone who will listen that you WILL survive. I also have advocated this as the best punishment for the moronic management/ownership over the past 10 years or so. I have also pointed out that I have some extremely good friends who are Skates (and yes I know this is an Oxymoron but they also have brains) and I would NEVER advocate taking their club away from them in the same way they supported me through our Admin. I also pointed out that ONCE you morons actually wake up and smell the coffee and (like Mack & Mero & my Skate mates) start to realise WHAT you did instead of continuing to BOAST about it then I will believe that you have the chance to become a football club instead of a joke. All I have pointed out so far have been Al Fahim was a self publicist who had ONE contact name left in his address book after he got fired. That was not saying you were going to be toast I also pointed out that Al Mirage was fake. They aren't very keen on Toasting anything in Saudi except with Fruit Juice And I have also pointed out that CSI have been after a football club for several years and had a budget to do that with. Hell THEY admitted it in their own TV Interview. Well, nobody has found any evidence to the contrary. As for the troll. He asked a question that included offensive jibes and expected a forum poster to reveal highly confidential information about annual budgets for an American Multi National operating in the Middle East. I explained why that could not be answered many pages ago. So he changed the question to one that my future 2 year old Niece in Law could answer. trolls are ignored it annoys them Why don't you answer a question for a change. Who do you think wrote the basics of "How to Take Over a Football Club" that CSI were given and appeared on BBC's Panorama? The soundbites about Sustainability, Developing & Investing in The Academy etc?
  3. Yep. Was a great idea after leaving the pub. Was incredibly stupid when we saw the photos. However was one of the few parts of the actual game that I remember .....
  4. Got off the train for Derby Away with London Saints on Chris Marsden day a few years back. We had a lot of beer in the Micro Brewery by the Station. We all wore Condoms on our heads as we entered the ground. The comment was made that the particular LS member was never going to use them up any other way so he may as well share the packet of 12 around. We were not alone.
  5. That requires one of two people to finally come forward and tell their story. One might have the ego to do that but nobody would ever want to read it, the other one is quite happy working for a living and highly professional in everything he does and so extremely unlikely to.It's all down to FF when he gets the bits together, but I think by that time we will have "Rewritten History" anyway with our new era and it will all be water under a bridge and all that. The only time it is relevant is to remind the troll and his few friends of the technical difference between 4 grand and 130 million
  6. CorrectNumerous links were posted in teh takeover/admin threads that showed him on the Begbies Web Site.
  7. Look up the export sales of the Hawk Jet. It is just about the UK's most successful ever export Jet. The Red Arrows perform World Wide, and at each event and Air Display overseas they are linked directly into the "British Pavillion" as part of the demonstration of systems and equipment. Just about every other airforce world-wide have Display Teams linked to the sales of their equipment. Back before the Eurofighter/Typhoon project was launched the Russians put together an SU-27 Team which (tbf) knocked the spots of everyone in terms of OMG-ness, but could not come close to the Iconic Professionalism of the Arrows. Reading the press today there appears to have been some reports of RAF Valley finding cracks in teh Ejector Seats of their training jets. This may have been an unfortunate "Could have happened to any Hawk Pilot anywhere in the world" accident and one which could cost BAe a lot of money to rectify World Wide
  8. With thks to an old poster who's still around on fb An old lady was crossing the car park at Fratton Park, loaded down with heavy shopping bags. One of the players came out of the office and saw her struggling ... "can you manage OK?" he asked. "P1ss off, I don't want the job!" she screamed.

    Arthritis

There are a whole new raft of operations designed to seek " relief" from varying types of Arthritus. My recent knee Op was an example, it has taken 4 months to get back to anything approaching fitness but my standard Meniscus Op included some experimental stuff actually filing the bones down smooth again. It hurt like hell, BUT it was a hell of a lot less than a new knee would have cost me in a few years time & because I found a researcher (by googling) he subsidised the cost so he could use videos of the inside of my knee at Arthritus Specialist Conventions. Of course it depends on the actual type but may be worth looking at. Total cost would have been $10k, half was insurance for the Meniscus the rest they covered, but even at that price it is a lot cheaper than Titatnium. If you want I'll PM my guys info.
  11. Everything that is wrong with the corruption of Democracy could be written in the tale of broken promises, total disregard for rules and process will no doubt start to now come out. And on the bright side there should be a few broke chicks looking for cheap bunga bunga dates. In a way shame he's going, it's always given us plenty of ammunition for our Italian friends in the way the poopey takeover thread has given... Like the austerity budget that ordered 15 or more Maseratti's for the ministers... Still. Two down, no doubt now to have their jobs taken by Bankers who can continue to try and squeeze blood out of stones and cover up the fraud and theft from (you) poor conned tax payers. (and before you ask - that includes my family & friends back home getting screwed over)
  12. Oh, and for the record. Aviva accepted the possibility of a lower figure in settlement of the Mortgage BEFORE Admin. Just a point of note for PFC - a Mortgage is over a SET number of years (normally 25) so the total DEBT is calculated at a figure that reflects the number of years it is EXPECTED to run. However, as most people who do NOT live in Caravans would understand, IF you ask to settle a Mortgage early - ie move to a new house or change to another company, you do not ACTUALLY owe the Interest for the years that you have not borrowed money. So the Mortgage for 25 years was valued as being a total debt of X To repay the Mortgage after say 5 years then that debt is reduced. So do NOT come the couldn't afford the Mortgage bullsh1t. We went into admin unexpectedly because a "friend of an ex Director" met with our Bank Manager and sold him a dodgy deal, next day we went bust for a 4 grand cheque
  13. Aviva had a mortgage on the Stadium. SFC PLC met the payments for a number of years. The payments made in those years equalled close to 75% of the total debt. The CVA acceptance by Aviva was at a figure which meant that they did not show ANY loss on their books, except the interest they COULD have earnt. However, as they then bundled that loan into a series of Derivatives, they actually made money in selling that security so still turned a profit. HTH Oh and yes, the information is stored safely for FF for when he writes his book
  14. IF you gave your credit card information in the original entry and then all of this happened then you should report them ASAP to your credit card company. It appears that the Merchant could be in breach of the new PCI Regulations, (sending you incorrect new laog-in information shows your original data may not have been stored correctly and Credit Card Co's are looking to kick some asses at the moment as the take up of Compliance Auditing has been very slow but IS mandatory. Just the mention of those 3 letters should turn the Merchant to Jelly. Any background info needed then PM me your email info & I will send you what I have.
  15. Speculatively. Going back full circle. The last recorded estimate of CSI's sports investment budget was the figure they invested in their F1 sponsorship - 8mil Nobody else has found anything on the internet to prove or disprove that data. (Despite the best efforts of the troll) Now the documentation shows a 7mil payment. It is pretty unlikely that figure would have been paid in full IF CSI are using the budget (+/- a few percentage points) as that would have left only enough cash to pay Voldermort 2k a week and fix a toilet. (But not TBH's wages) So it starts to become possible to deduce that CSI have made some form of agreement to pay in stages and hence the charge remains in place as security against future payments. Again, purely speculatively, based on the only available data found to date, this means that the annual budget could be reduced leaving the few with less funding than they imagined. Of course, equally speculatively, CSI may well have discovered a separate Capital Acquisition budget. But that then poses the question as to why the charge remains. In this instance it would then lead to a possible assumption that Chanrai still has his hands on the last of the Parachute Payments. So, this year the toilets, next year the clock. Maybe soon they will be able to afford Loo Rolls to put in the toilets. Oh, just a BTW. Perhaps seeing as they are praying for a full house (their only one of the season) against us, we should boycott the game entirely and refuse to give them our cash.
  16. Hmmm memories On the occassions I use dto stay in those Full English Breakfast included hotels like the Thistle in London Porridge with about a half a spoon of Brown Sugar... yummmmmm
  17. That'll spoil a few people's day I trust we will reciprocate
  18. You know? I thought the post about the toilets was as good as any we have seen on here for ages. But this one takes the biscuit. Nice use of corporate access there no doubt Better cut & paste it gang just in case someone wants it back. That's gotta hurt, it's like one of Daniel Craig's well aimed knees in the groin in Cowboys & Aliens that we just watched on dodgy DVD
  19. Ah so THAt explains it. The sudden panic and re-appearance of the dopey few. Suddenly they see another of their records about to come crashing down. yep just noticed the Olympic Torch relay route - they are terrified that the City of Portsmouth will have MORE than 200,000 on The Common to see some fat git in a Saints shirt puffing his way along holding a big cigarette lighter. Imagine the pain of more seeing a fag lighter attract than their cheating cheats with the stolen cup eh Hmm Saints shirt with the Olympic Flame through Southsea Common..... Where do we sign up?
  20. Youch. Can you guess we have a Bank Holiday Monday here & it's RAINING! Nowt much else to do.. except turn into MLG for a day (don't worry back to normal by Friday - off to see Britney!) So in that 95/95 season we had two players who were joint top scorers with SEVEN League goals (Le Tiss and..... Shipperly) This season RL 9 Guly 6 DC 5 AL 5 And we're just about a quarter the way through the season.
  21. I posted on the Cov Post Match Thread that we should be aware that we are living through some special days at the moment. The youngsters should remember these, and us Old 'Uns should get the kids/Grandkids down to watch as soon as we can. Don't let them flash by unnoticed or sat in a funk of depression at what might go wrong. So we have scored 37 goals in the League so far this season. (16 games) When we were in the PL... 1995/6 34 goals in an ENTIRE season 1998/9 37 goals in an ENTIRE season and we are catching up fast to 2000/01 40 goals in an ENTIRE season. Oh and with 36 points we are now ONLY two points less than we achieved in an ENTIRE SEASON in 1995/6 (And of course 4 MORE than we achieved in our ENTIRE relegation year). Another snippet - according to Saintsplayer highlights, with the Coventry game, we have now won 94 points from our League matches in 2011 to date Make the most of getting the nippers hooked THIS season, because it can't possibly be as good as this when we go up next year. Can it?
  22. Some of us have actually maintained a consistent line throughout the years that this thread has been going (about the same length of time as poopey's golden era by now I guess). Some of us weren't worried that "They might get away with it" TM OldNick Some of us understood that sometimes a Death Penalty for a club can be an easy way out, allowing time for grieving and then a new focus and a new dawn. No, some of us advocated the Life Sentence, of decline pain and misery rotting in the cold empty spaces even as the wooden stands slowly rotted themselves into oblivion. And this is what you have, this is why we are still here. Analysing the decline, laughing ourselves silly at the little bursts of hope (The Russians are minted, they don't need budgets, they'll spend as much as they need to etc) Yes survival in pain is what we want, the gradual dwindling of any last vestige of hope, leaving pfc123 and his mates to sit in their Old People's Home with half forgotten memories of reading books about a proper pre war history (and struggling to remember whether it was the World War or the War in Iraq). They came up with the Curse of St Mary's. We responded by sending them into the clutches of a life of decline, pain and misery under the control of Voldermort. Can a geeky little kid in glasses save them? no, of course not, they sold all the kids BRING IT ON!
  23. Must have been the troll. After all, he is an expert, he taught me so much about them. Now then, what was that budget figure I must have so erronously quoted for CSI this season again?
  24. Can't be someone from here. They're way to eloquent.
