  1. Ah so YOU'VE been to that bar in Bangkok as well then
  2. Would be interesting to compare that with some of the CL games tonight
  3. Appropriate considering Saints are Dominating this first half.... Hmmm now there's an idea for the second half
  4. Getting towards Nun time
  5. Yeah, but when we score we'll get dizzy flying back up the league so fast
  6. Jaidi nearly pulls off a CMFG Ipswich special with an 85 yard run. Feck I was sure it was a pint of Magners
  7. Ah so that's our problem - Good Combination Play there - Nige - we're in League ONE not the Combination anymore
  8. Chris - Nice bloke, he's incredibly tall. Not worth a fiver at the golf though Oh sorry had a relapse there.
  9. uh oh big pregnant pause there from saintsplayer. Phew back again
  10. Lallana with a Towering Leap.... Now if ONLY we could get Rickie doing that again
  11. Sorted. Magners poured. Saints web working Worrying everything gone Sooooooooooo well today what could possib... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Shut Up Phil
  12. Oh cr@p. Well I uploaded my (award winning) pictures to FB and promptly passed out and woke up 3 hours later. Looks like I'm up for this after all! So what to do, naughty Nuns or Pics of me with the Ryder Cup during the match thread. Think we''ll save the Cup for a hail Mary pass when we are 4-0 down one week with 10 mins to go. that won't be tonight. Think we'll struggle to impose ourselves again, dour first half & wrist slitters & Eric doubting he will stay up and then a good push on in the second half. Maybe 2-1 Saints but expect we'll go one behind first
  13. Am knackered after my exploits today ( see golf sections in the papers to see what I was up to!) so no way I will be awake by midnight local time unfortunately. So It's been a beautiful day, hit around 30C and slightly more haze than usual. Sorry to miss the match thread tonight. Let's hope we get on the front foot straight away, don't want to be forced into keeping our backs against a wall just because it's Brighton COYS!
  14. You're getting as predictable as Dalek, you're not his agent by any chance?
  15. Ridiculous, waste of money to prop up a stupid economic concept that was fatally flawed. It is basically a last gaps attempt to cover all the EMU ERM & Euro luvvies dating back to Maggie & Norman Lament (sic) It also won't work. People make big bucks out of speculating and the portugese will be next. And as for your tax money going to bail out banks who employed greedy stupid arrogant idiots doing greedy stupid deals for ridiculous bonus cheques, well that is just plain wrong. It ain't gonna get any better. Bet the Commies never thought they'd win the Cold War this way
  16. Yep. Let me guess. You've never been a 15/16 year old male waiting to go to the promised land of College
  17. Saturday night, nothing decent on the telly, couldn't be bothered to find a DVD so saw a movie on one of the sat channels "Annihilation Earth" with Luke Goss. Story was basically about the Large Hadron Collider being hijacked by an Arab Terrorist and being used to wipe out Europe with a Higgs Bosun Particle. Without a doubt, it was the single most risable movie I have ever seen. The storyline was dreadful (The world get's destroyed by thickos) The script was "ooh you've been shot in the stomach, I think you might die darling". The CGI of cities burning were bonfire night clips superimposed on stock footage. All the Satellites fell out of the sky onto one village in France where Luke Goss happened to be but despite wiping out the village and falling within 10 feet of him he is unharmed..... The two "PornStar Supermodels with big tits" wearing low cut vests that were supposed to be nerdy Quark scientists and their ACTING - lol - we know how you got the parts girls! It truly was Sooooooooooo bad that we just sat and hooted with laughter and derision all the way through it. Think it may possibly make it into the top ten of worst movies ever made. Shortly afterwards it was followed by The Mutant Chronicles. Again, very flaky plot lines and acting, but redeemed by much better special effects and some pretty much non-stop action scenes. That one earnt a 2/10 if watched with a few beers may make it to a 3. The Luke Goss movie? Has to be an admin special - minus 10
  18. Yep that's a fair comment. It isn't as much of a lol'age as their current position though. Imagine the fun as the pressure builds if they continue to stumble for the next couple of games. They probably won't, but it does seem that Red Card for their "low cost loan" superstar affected their momentum. Wonder how long it will be before they start to spot the "adverse number of dodgy ref decisions" during games has a trend to it, bit like we did for a while?
  19. Didn't put this on the main board, but how interesting that the EPL's finest seem to have some of the problems of interference that some on here have alleged happen at SMS. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/8150102/Chelsea-changes-have-left-Carlo-Ancelotti-brooding-over-future-as-tensions-mount-at-Stamford-Bridge.html If they can't get it right, what chance the rest of football eh?
  20. We have a ready made cover for Barnard when he goes to have his operation with probably the best striker on our books. However I would expect that NA is concerned as to whether he would be able to leave the treatment room for 3 weeks in a row
  21. Does it get Sky Sports in HD?
  22. Leeds Utd Away League Cup Semi Final 1st Leg '79 Sunderland Away (always), but especially the just before Christmas trip with London Saints about 8 or 10 years ago But yep, you're right, I will have to wrap up warm, likely to be a chilly 21C by the time I finish working at the golf Tuesday and go for a well earned beer
