Trying to cook Prawn Sausages on their Camp Fire

What hope is there for anyting or anyone? 653 pages we've been sitting here using logic and reason to analyse what is happening. Just when you have verything understood and you can look at at things with understanding and confidence in the power of logic, the World goes and throws a total curve ball at you and all logic sense and reason goes flying out the window. I was in a Fashion Shop today in an Outlet Mall. For some utterly obscure reason, in the middle of the store surrounded by heavily discounted Beverly Hills Polo Club and other non brands sat.......... An Ice cream Freezer. And the Freezer was full of. Prawn Sausages. yep, Prawn Sausages, manufactured in Brunei. I mean WTF? There are people in this world who eat Prawn SAUSAGES? Let alone somebody who MAKES them. Simply goes to show there is no possible way this whole few mess is going to follow any logic or reason to a conclusion. Those clearly don't exist in the world. Anyway, I bought the lot, did a deal with AA and will be flogging them off outside Nottarf over the next few weeks. Think they deserve each other. Prawn Bangers for the Skates

Maybe it's now our job, along with the Players to make the family members into fans. Marcus became one very quickly and there is no reason why with SMS rocking we can't convert the rest of the family into our family club fold

Also, quite possibly, the network of Scouts and experience that we have as a back up to AP (including Les Read) haven't found anyone that THEY like that fills the need that THEY see as being available. And of course so many on here have signed up what, 17 pages of players? so far this pre and early season in the HCDAJFU thread. In other words - I trust the people emplyed by the club with many years of experience to 1) Tell us they are looking for players (they have) 2) Go out and get the RIGHT players (they have and I believe they will do) So we've simply been arguing about the pace of signing them. I'd like to buy a nice low milage 3 or 4 year old Bentley Convertible for 1500 quid cash. Frustratingly I haven't been able to do it this morning. Perhaps I should sack myself for lack of ambition, vision or understanding

Not sure of the exact details of the Walker/Blackburn thing, but personally I am not that concerned about the whole Trust Fund issue. From my experience of other business cultures I would imagine that provisions were made by Marcus under Succession Planning and/or his Will that would amount to the same effect. Of course I may be wrong, but I think we're OK and off on our journey for now. Providing we get a result tomorrow of course
