  1. However, there are an awful lot of possibilities for an investor with nerve, a sense of timing and funds to exploit. Jacksons Farm is one of them but there are a whole host of other opportunities. Waterfront, mini Casino, hotel plans (remember that one) The Liebherr family don't strike me as daft, they will have seen an opportunity not just a potential black hole. A lot for us to yet learn about them, their team of Directors and their motivations and plans. It's great so far and I do think it will get a lot better, but we all know what happened last time round when a couple of muppets screwed up the last take-over (HOW hard IS it to close the door on someone in a takeover FFS) So let's wait for SOME real facts before deciding we know what they intend to do for the next 1, 3 or 5 years
  2. I have no idea, but I personally reserve the right to at least TRY and get all the facts before I decide to open the Moet instead of the Sparkling Shiraz (both equally valuable to me of course) meanwhile, lol, my great pal in Syria went to all the trouble to find a photo of a particular product that has merited a couple of mentions of late. I think i will honour his efforts with a new Avatar for a day Had to LMFAO and of course I am sure that like me, nobody on here has ANY idea what it really does, but my mate said we should have got some last year - it would have kept us up... No idea what he meant!
  3. Is it only me that reads this as the money man behind the deal is....? So if he's the money, who is he employing? I await tomorrow with even more interest
  4. I so do hope so. Had to take a break the 5 finger wore out. Wow, So much happened, first we had Addisons, then Leprosy and finally Anthrax. Whereas all we had on here in the past 3 hours was a Solent news report which sort of told us all what we had already sort of worked out. Ho hum, hopefully Sarcasticosis next
  5. Crikey, 12,000+ views of this thread since early afternoon People - GET A LIFE And let us loonies refresh the pages more than once every 10 minutes
  6. damn one out again
  7. Viagra is apparently quite expensive and requires a prescription, perhaps what you need is some of the non-WTO generic Syrian product discussed on here previously. Let's see if we can get some Vega across to the UK anytime soon
  8. Meanwhile, in other news, Scientists are responding urgently to new translations of Nostradamus's predictions which appear to indicate a deep-cover incurable virus that will destroy all computer and memory chips around the world. According to this new translation, this secret virus is due to be released into the global internet when an obscure "papyrus of the spider" (possibly translated as a web page) reaches a milestone number of 150. Concerns are emerging that a secret sect have found the location of this code and have been hatching a plan to flood the post apocaplypse world with new sayings from the false prophets. Scientists are urgently scouring the globe for possible conspiracies that could force a web page to reach this unusual milestone. Anybody with any possible information on potential web sites is asked to contact their local police via this special website imboredsohavinganearlybeeranddontunderstandwhatisgoingon.com
  9. and now for the half-time scores DP 1, Trousers Nil
  10. Well that hardware upgrade sure worked then Only 545 online and 5 minutes to refresh
  11. There is only ONE thing that concerns me about the delays.... the LONGER it goes, the closer we get to another Echo exclusive that TL or MJ stand ready to save the club arrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  12. Maybe because they used professional advisors such as Seymour Pierce oh
  13. The longer it takes the closer we can get to celebrating on Friday at Waxy's
  14. Can you give us some idea of the actual time - I'd like to send a mate down the bookies as it is BOUND to be the moment the Press Conference starts
  15. I think I even joked at the time that the Mail would probably pick it up and run with it!
  16. That is the critical question that is being asked Nick. Public record - 4 backers, 3 walked out. What proof of funds did Fry accept? The old PoF or a new one. Then the public record Fry demanded 500k deposit. How much deposit was actually paid and by whom? THAT is a valid question Fry did NOT confirm the figure, he was asked the question but he did not answer it. Then the speculation comes into the equation with Leon joining the bid. It is public record that Leon loaned the club some money. The ONLY speculation is whether in some way getting him to join the bid COULD have been a point of negotiating - as in - look "a member of our bid" has already made a payment to the club, could you not use that as the deposit? I have NO idea whether that was the case, you ARE correct in that Pinnacle SEEMED ready to act, but IF the speculation is correct then there is a question as to why the Swiss were expected to be working to different rules. How do we KNOW for example that their delay was not caused by the terms of the deposit? It's a valid question to ask.. FF is correct, they are questions that need answering AFTER we are safely in the hands of new owners. There is however no harm in asking them on a public forum now, Fry's not going to stop doing his job because some fans aren't convinced this has gone smoothly....
  17. lol TTS received a txt from a mate and posted a rumour that is the prime definition of ITK'ness OK so an hour later it was published on the Echo web site - and we all know... Then oh sh*t what normally happens to stuff published in teh Echo or ITK'd Noooooooooooooooooo that wasn't what I meant to say arrrggghh :smt073
  18. Sounds like it's based on a couple of Docs over here then:cool:
  19. Which is I don't doubt another of FF's very valid questions... How much money was ACTUALLY lost? Go back and read the very specific comments by Fry where he refused to confirm the actual figure
  20. Which has also had an interesting side effect, we know nothing about the Swiss YET, but already "opinion" is moving in a Let's go Wilde way. Personally I HOPE that this is the real deal and that we "will finally walk a League with professional, sensible, sustained development and investment" Professionally, I wait for the actual facts before deciding to rush to the English Sports Bar in Baden to celebrate
  21. Which is why I'll also wait until we are safe before I answer your pm from a couple of weeks back. If I was incorrect on here I apologise (see did it openly) but in mitigation I had good reason. Keep digging there is a good story in this for you
  22. Perhaps MLT is wiser than some give him credit for, has learnt a very painful lesson, and has decided NOT to give anyone making a bid his "exclusive" support until such time as 1) They have secured ownwership of the club and 2) Spoken with him. That's not such a leap of faith as he HAS said inthe Echo that he will support ANYONE who saves the club
  23. So, you got a better idea other than Lupus? Never mind just send down the Vicodin (but maybe that's the point of the buzz-word gag)
