We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.

I reckon this has been deliberately leaked so that when the strikes start, everyone is running around with full tanks and so the impact of the strike will be less. It is akin to stockpiling coal before taking on the minors.

I don't know, but I reckoin Sloop John B would be a real hit

Did some saints fans not throw things at the pompey keeper in our recent game down there?

If you were writing a banner for pompey, what would you put on it?
Johnny Bognor replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
I am not sure the skates will get that one -
Brilliant. Standing ovation for that one

A friend of mine owns a business that is shirt sponsor for a League 2 side. He was contacted last week by a pompey supporters group asking if he would sponsor them next season. Seems like some of the Blue Few are already preparing for a new pompey.

I'm sometimes in the Isobar...... on match days (I hasten to add). Yes, from this article, if you associate with other "risk" supporters, then you would be on a list. I would have thought that under the data protection act, you can ask what information is held on you. If I am on a list, I want to know about it.

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I stumbled (not being a Guardian reader) across this article..... http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/libertycentral/2010/jun/17/football-hooliganism-laws?fb=native&CMP=FBCNETTXT9038 Seems like a liberal approach is needed to this.

Draw the best result here. It doesn't help them too much, but still helps us open a gap on Reading (assuming we win, of course)

Yes, I guess there is some self indulgence in all of this The thing is, I did many of the mid life crisis things before I had mine. That's the problem. Say hello to him, I haven't seen much of him this season Ah, you've got it all to come. Enjoy it while you can

No mate, way too much to spill the beans on this forum. If I did spill the beans, it would need more space than the pompey take over thread! The server would simply not take it. I couldn't do that to you guys.

I wish it was that simple. Apart from smoking, lead a healthy lifestyle. Eat well and lost of exercise. On paper, I have it all. Inside, a totally different matter. I know I'll come out better and stronger, but that will take time. Will try and stay on the right side of the political divide. ;-) LOL

Something triggered it. Won't go into details on here, although it took 3 years to manifest itself I know it's not the British stiff upper lip thing to do, but it is a total head ****. Noticed I haven't been around for a while? I was thinking of climbing Kilimanjaro. But the rest is not far off the mark

Thank you. Yes it is bizarre. On paper, I thought I would be the last to go through it.

It seems I am in good company then. I am 40 and right in the middle of it. Was building up for a few years. There are good bits and bad bits......

Has anyone had one of these? What happened? How long did it last?

Johnny Bognor replied to View From The Top's topic in The Lounge
The design of the tankers was undertaken by BMT, a british company. That is where the future lies...... designing things
