Independent http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/charlies-back--and-controversial-as-ever--as-its-staff-take-aim-at-powerful-new-friends-9974065.html Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/jan/13/charlie-hebdo-cover-magazine-prophet-muhammad Oddly its the right wing press who have wimped out, and the BBC.

Apparently the whole reason you aren't supposed to depict him was because he didn't like the way Christianity had become focussed on Jesus instead of God - he insisted to his followers that no images of him should be made so that they couldn't worship him. It was a very humble act. If he was around now I doubt if he give s hit if someone who wasn't a Muslim printed his picture.
-
You may well be right - and its fair reasoning if he is thinking that. I cant see him securing an England place though.
-
Agree. Being a first choice at somewhere like Crystal Palace is probably more attractive and lucrative for him. Although he is a good squad player our midfield is pretty well stocked and him going will give more opportunity to young players like Reed.

No we don't. Many of us move jobs for less money to work in jobs we love in places we want to live.

Just pointing hindsight is wonderful thing and best not to be too smug about it.

7 games, five assists

Its a pretty defensive team with no Tadic or Mane. Away draw would be a good result.
-
Guess you weren't at Brentford away then.
-
They've got two draws and four losses from the last 6 games, 2 points of a possible 18. They are 5 points from the drop zone and every club beneath them, including the bottom two have better form than that. Is another relegation too greedy and too much to hope for?

The fact that the ruling families dont keep it all themselves but graciously hand some down to the people doesnt really improve the situation.....in general.
-
He's a backup / squad player for us. Im happy if he stays but not bothered if he chooses to go.
-
Thats why the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi etc are rotten to the core. The wealth of the country goes not to the people but to the ruling family.
-
They are already. Around 19/20 plots are foiled before execution by intelligence. That intelligence doesnt come from Christian accountants in Surrey.

Can't see your missus allowing that

Maybe if westerners stopped turning a blind eye to working for kleptocracy dictatorships because the money is good the morally bankrupt regimes would have fallen long ago.

I tire of those who are unable to see that free speech cannot be conditional on not offending anyone. Once you start limiting free speech for good reasons then its easy to limit it for bad. Free speech is a corner stone of a liberal democracy - along with sexual freedom, gender and race equality, freedom of association, religious choice, right to vote etc. Those people who are most offended by puerile cartoons would also remove the other rights you supposedly hold so dear.

The gunmen are dead, the woman accomplice got away apparently
-
It depends on whether you are prepared to let the extremists take free speech away from you or whether you are prepared to stand up for it. The editor Charbonnier knew he was risking his life and was prepared to make that sacrifice. He was incredibly brave, I m not sure I would be able to do the same for a principle. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-30737156

Private sector management in the NHS is more efficient and effective.

The government cut back on nurse training and created a nursing shortage and now have a problem they cant get out of. The need the agency nurses to cover the shortage, but the more hospitals use them the more incentive there is for more staff to leave and go the agency route for twice the money. -

Forget about the crap about the hospital. Tell me about the scandal with your sister.
