They wrewnt worse than the previous failing management, but weren't any better either.

So is Private Eye and Viz. There shouldn't be any sacred cows. Freedom of speech is gradually being eroded in favour of peoples right to not be gratuitously offended.

You do need some kind mechanism to deal with occasional failing management in public institutions but private sector management trying to take 10% of income out as profit isnt the answer. Management of the NHS is far more complex and demanding than most private businesses - as Circle have found out.

Appears they are two separate incidents. The Charlie Hebdo killers are holed up in an industrial unit near CDG. The hostage situation is apparently the killer of the female traffic cop.

I havent seen any evidence of that. The western terrorists all seem to be social misfits - either friendless loners or ex cons who have served time for drugs or theft.
