Top level strikers, oddly, want to go to a top level club. The stikers clubs like Saints can sign are those who are good but have 'issues' like Osvaldo or are unproven at this level either because they come from the Championship or because they play in smaller leagues abroad. The onlu alternative is to go for a past it 30 something 'name' who has been dumped by his 'top level' club and is is looking for a last payday.
