  1. Better yet why not appraise us of your fitness to criticise?
  2. Exactly. Posters (who have never met and know nothing about her or her board) saying other people (who they have never met and know about) should be running the club. Its just is risible and would be funny if it wasnt so pathetic. KL has done more for this club than perhaps anyone in its history. Markus Liebherr had the vsion but it was KL who delivered on it and is responsible for funding the rise from lg1. Reminds me of spoilt children complaining because the Christmas expensive presents werent all exactly what they wanted.
  3. I'm pretty sure they're different.
  4. Sad news. Booked Carter once to play at Uni. John was great. A taste. [video=youtube;MhCnrMl-Caw]
  5. Plus "'The players have chosen to leave and I don't blame the club. Their hands are tied and the Bosman ruling means they have to cash in".
  6. If my pay wasnt changing then I'd go to the club 1. Nearest to Arsenal / London / Heathrow 2. The club with the best players as coaches - Koeman x 2 and Sammy Lee.
  7. Certainly could be one of the best windows ever for players coming in if things pan out as rumoured. I also think it the medium / long run if the the money is used well the club will be stronger for it. Its hard to say that the team will be stronger on 17th August though.
  8. Very true. We are in the 'good but unproven at this level' market. The only other markets we could be in are the 'failed at a top club' and 'used to be good but past it now'.
  9. Top level strikers, oddly, want to go to a top level club. The stikers clubs like Saints can sign are those who are good but have 'issues' like Osvaldo or are unproven at this level either because they come from the Championship or because they play in smaller leagues abroad. The onlu alternative is to go for a past it 30 something 'name' who has been dumped by his 'top level' club and is is looking for a last payday.
  10. Man U fail with Hummels and now go for de Vrij http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-uniteds-chase-mats-hummels-3917815 Interesting that Man U rate their main cb target, a WC winner, at £16m. Puts £20m for Lovren in perspective.
  11. New £9m bid for Forster. "Forster does expect the transfer to go through thids window" Southampton ready £9million bid for Celtic's England goalkeeper Fraser Forster http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-ready-9million-bid-celtics-3919628#ixzz38cHvNLGe
  12. Not less than £27m apparently.... http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jul/25/southampton-morgan-schneiderlin-tottenham Also "Koeman intends to press on with his incoming business and he is close to a deal for the Celtic centre-half Virgil van Dijk while he has an interest in the Aston Villa centre-half Ron Vlaar. There is the acceptance at the club that Koeman needs a goalkeeper, one or most likely two centre-backs, a striker, as Dani Osvaldo is available for transfer and, probably, another wide midfielder. The forward, Jay Rodriguez, has returned to light training after the cruciate knee ligament injury that he suffered last April and which ruled him out of England’s World Cup squad. Rodriguez hopes to play again in October.
  13. Could all crash and burn horribly of course - but you could see the attraction for him.
  14. Its the ultimate football manager opportunity. A lagely blank canvas and £100m to play with.
  15. Broken assurances; refusing to give up loyalty bonuses despite agitating to leave; spreading discontent in dressing room despite being captain?
  16. 10-12th assuming Lovren, Chambers, Morgan, Ramirez and Osvaldo are gone but are replaced by 5 players of Koeman's choice. Higher placing in 2015/16
  17. Lets be honest, we are a bit up **** creeek atm - but we do have a map, a pilot, a paddle and £70m so Im pretty sure we'll be fine.
  18. Should be dos Santos as well - but I guess its was a draft.
  19. Thats true - but once I realised that playing for the club that nurtured them from age 8 meant less to them than a pay rise it ceased to be important to me either.
  20. Good scoring (11) and assist (eight) record in Spain last year in only 31 matches. Yeah I know its an easy league....
  21. That'll be an odd choice if Arsenal are playing him as a holding midfieldfer.
  22. Ow. Hard to say without more info what that means - but having £110m more liabilities than assets is rarely good.
  23. Yep its a retrospective work. Improves the accuracy that way.
  24. Idiocy
