Fivefold increase in athletes being taken ill and / or dying huh? Being hushed up eh? Go on then tell us where we can find those stats because it would indeed be a stonking coincidence if it ever happens.
-
Not you though eh? You're smarter than the average bear.

Not sure there is any issue as such. The Pfizer one is just a bit more effective and lasts a bit longer
-
Yep I think the boosters are all Pfizer. Mine was anyhow

More likely to be direct access to ministers and secret briefings, getting news ahead of competitors etc -

If Johnson had anything to do with his sacking it could be his worst misjudgement and spell the end of him. It’s starting into Russia and China territory -
Alternative to Egypt might be Morocco. I went to Agadir a couple of years ago in February. Sunny, cheap, good food and some decent sight seeing

Nah, it'll polish out. -
Sounds about right to me too, especially if its going predominantly east or west so lots of time zones.

Me too - but the distance puts me off. 17 hours on a plane is no fun, after about 11 hours I start to go stir crazy. I know you can stop over somewhere but even so its still a pain. Sri Lanka is only about 10 hours
-
Never been to Goa but if you’re after that Indian feel holiday totally recommend Sri Lanka. A lot to see and do - from beaches to wildlife to temples to tea plantations to Buddhas tooth. Nice people good food and cheap .

Wrong. There has never been a border between north and south of Ireland, since long before joining the EU. It was the UK which decided NI would remain within the single market and that the rest of the country would come out. The inevitable consequence of that is that you have a border down the Irish sea. A domestic UK government decision. No-one else to blame.

The more relevant question is why you still need to try and pick holes or interpret someone’s views negatively even on a thread about mental health and even when two posters have opened up about their struggles. Sometimes consider stfu as an option

Do you know what the difference between an association and a causal link is ?

It’s pretty simple. Our immune systems function by being continually topped up by regular small dose exposures to virus particles and bacteria. The sheltering and other protective measures people have taken against covid have reduced exposure and consequently reduced immunity against a whole host of person to person infections. It’s a milder version of the way South American Indians were wiped out by common diseases brought over from Europe

Even the wife's death defence was distasteful though. I imagine there were wider circumstances than just this issue but if anything its her husbands grafting and loss of 'respectability' which caused the hurt, the investigation was just a consequence of that. -

Wouldn't be surprised if Johnson bought him off with the promise of being made a Lord - which hopefully will see the idiot finally lose the support of Tory MPs. -
Sure the code is traceable but its up to you if you declare that test to be negative or positive. One of the UK weaknesses is that the UK allows self administered lateral flow tests - so you can simply lie about the result. I came back from France when it was red. Despite being armed with a battery of tests and apps immigration were only interested in a cursory look at my passport. Customs however spent 15 minutes questioning me about the case of wine I'd brought back. Priorities, priorities

It's a case study of one. Co-incidence is real and it really does mean nothing. Ideopathic (without known cause) pericarditis has been around a lot longer than covid.
