Seems to be some kind of long lasting chest cough / cold going around. I thought I had covid a while ago but turned out to be negative.

Thanks. A little recreational maths. Germany has a shortage of 60,000 drivers in a population of 83m (1 in 1,383). Britain is short 100,000 drivers in a population of 67 million (1 in 670). Ergo Britain has double the problem of Germany. Britain lost 20,000 drivers after single market freedom of movement ended and also has problems with EU haulage companies refusing to come here due to paperwork outside of the single market. Germany didnt Hm. Almost seems like they are connected.

Its because there is a high correlation between being thick and being reactionary. Have a look at DM and DE comments. Its full of 'she only got the job because she's a carpet muncher' comments.

How would you know? What measurements tell you if she is doing a good job? Please don’t say crime rates or whether a police officer murders someone whilst she is commissioner

No. He's suggesting the American people think he is.

I swallowed a torch once and have never had covid. Co-incidence? I don't think so sheeple

You see it everyday in the Exoress comments. It’s the fault of literally everybody else and nothing to do eith brexit. They were foaming at the mouth and repeating as Infinitium ‘we saved you in the war’ because a Dutch trucker union official said he didn’t think Dutch truckers would be interested in short term work in UK and it was a problem we had made .

Referenda should be for single issue points of principle - like right to die, abortion time limits, or death penalty not for complex issues.

Its easier to imagine AI guided cars and trucks on motorways and trunk roads as less issue with pedestrians, junctions, U turns, bin lorries and supermarket delivery vans etc. You could probably roll out a system of off motorway hubs for autonomous HGVs to deal with 90% of the delivery miles with driver operated vans and smaller trucks doing the local stuff. -
Unlikely to be at work in that case

Sad but true. Most politicians had used the EU as a whipping boy for decades, an easy blame every time they lacked the courage to tell the public the truth about failure of domestic policy or their own inability to control a problem. Looked ridiculous when they turned around and said actually.... -
Dumbass. In 2016 London was number 1 globally, Frankfurt 19th, Paris ranked way behind at 29th and Amsterdam 33rd. Now London is 2nd behind New York, Paris is 10th, Frankfurt has grown to 14th and Amsterdam 17th. As always your links prove exactly the opposite of what you think. http://en.cdi.org.cn/images/research/gfci/GFCI20English-2016.pdf 2016 Here is a graphic showing London's performance - the decline is just in the last 5 years oddly enough

Its true the leave camp had a better campaign. They also had an easy message to sell - "leave and everything will be better because we can control all the bad stuff that you dont like". Remain said "thats not true, its a lie'" and people were left with 'he said she said' so they believed what they wanted to believe. -
To some degree that’s true - but fuel isn’t like toilet rolls or pasta, items that people can hoard. There also isn’t any substantial reduction in supply so whilst you might get a short term spike in demand it’s hard to see wide scale filling station closures and Mike long queues

You can only fill your tank once. What is it you think people are going to do ? Panic drive extra miles? Panic carry extra diesel home in jam jars and buckets. Please clarify
