  1. My brother and sister and season ticket holders and similarly totally disinterested in the made up politics.
  2. Could have got the full 360 for only £5m more
  3. IIRC the club could have gained a bit more space by turning the pitch 90 degrees as Dalek said, but increased regulation /standards meant that much of the increased space for seating would have been eaten up by a deeper perimeter round the pitch. A lot of work and money for little benefit in the end.
  4. Its hard for young up and coming academy players to break into the first team at any time, but especially in the top half of the Championship and in the Premier League. Would be good if we had a 'B' team competing in League 1 or thereabouts as a proving ground.
  5. Those are good cheap machines that last. Make sure you buy one which doesnt switch itself off after 10 miniutes or so, most of them do that now.
  6. You need something sexier than that. Try this.....
  7. I always imagined it was bigger than that...
  8. Have some prozac and take your jumper off.
  9. Man in wanting to change jobs shocker. Maybe just maybe Arsenal isnt a good place to work anymore and he wants to try somewhere else. Hes been saying for a long time he sees his best postion as upfront, not as a winger. Clearly everybody here who is slating him has never done anything as egotistical or sef centred as wanting a change.
  10. Mebbe Preston know not many of their fans will make it, so its in their intrests to keep the ticket price high, and play in a quiet mostly empty stadium than a full one full of Saints fans.
  11. Probably would be 27-28,000 without the recession. At a rough guess 5% of Saints fans have lost their jobs in the past few years and another 20% or so have seen wages frozen whilst bills rise. Luxuries like football will always take second place behind mortages and kids shoes.
  12. As a Wales fan Dyer for England would make him happy.
  13. John Smith's limitations have long been obvious, but finding this out about Pap is like discovering your favourite uncle is a cross dressing astrology devotee.

  15. Totally different situation imo. Those wars may have been wrong, waged with too little regard for human life and not worth the candle but they were started by Governments openly, publically and in what they believed were the best interests of their country. AFAIK no-one accused the government of Herbert Asquith of faking Zeppelin raids so that the lizard people could take over.
  16. Yes Im sure US and other western security services have placed moles in Al Qaeda. Does the fact that a courier / supplier to an Al Qaeda cell somewhere occasionally sells information to the CIA mean that the CIA bombed New York and Washington? erm no.
  17. But it you dodging the questions. Who and why? Who would arrange for Britain to deliberately stab itself in the eye and why. And why would no-one charged with protecting the UK do a single thing to stop it.
  18. MI5 are responsible for UK domestic intelligence and counter terrorism. So you dont think they did it. Did they know about it?
  19. I tried to find a pic of her looking dog rough so I could go 'nah nah ner nah nah' and act superior. Couldnt find one...not many people you can say that about.
  20. But surely if you think its possible that the 9/11 and 7/7 attacks were orchestrated by government then the security services must have at least known about it and probably organised the attack - or do think its possible MI5 wouldnt know if there was a conspiracy within government to attack London and kill UK citizens?
  21. For many years my uncle organised security for the major government buildings and oil installations in the middle east. He was responsible for the ground up anti terrosrist and anti bugging design of the OPEC building. He knew everybody in the security services both in the UK and abroad. In his office he had a satellite photograph of Putin taking a **** against a tree. My brother in law managed the maintenance of the UK Trident nuclear warheads programme. Because, not despite, their jobs they are passionate about avoiding political intereference, the importance of proper public accountability and of only acting in the public interest. They both find it absolutely inconceivable that such plots as you and John Smith espouse are possible - the security services are full of people who wouldnt act for politicians against the national interest and would capsize and expose any such attempts. Thats more than good enough for me.
  22. I wonder why the Head of Britain's intelligence service would criticise Government for using terror attacks as a justification for introducing legislation which restricts individual rights? After all she was complicit in 9/11 and organised 7/7 surely Pap? http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/former-head-of-mi5-says-42day-detention-plan-is-unworkable-862947.html
  23. But then you'd be able to say "its all burnt, it looks like part of the missile"
  24. Agree with all of that. I want table service in a place which hasnt got sticky tables and carpets or smells of wee. Its possible, though rare, in London but most provincial cities are a total loss.
