My biggest issue with the NHS is the number of consultants and surgeons who are having their cake and eating it too. If you’re working for the NHS in imporantant roles you should be working for the NHS only. People shouldn’t be getting told they’ll need to wait x amount of months for important and sometimes life saving treatments and are then left feeling like their only option is to go private because it’s much quicker only to be greeted by the same people who told them they’d need to wait to have to have their treatment/surgery on the NHS.
