This is really, really boring to watch.

If we don’t see any impact from Harry Kane doing it for club and country for a long longer than Haaland has then I doubt we’ll see any significant impact from Haaland either.

Thought I would fire up fm24 just to remind myself how stupidly overrated our squad always is so I don’t waste money buying FM26. It’s currently February, I haven’t lost a single league game and Sekou Mara is the championships top scorer. You’re a gimp.

Yeah the players really do need to take a certain level of responsibility. Especially today, there was some really good pass and move football from us in the first 10 minutes. It’s the first time this season I’ve really seen us look like we had any patterns of play or cohesion. Then we scored and they all switched off for the rest of the game. Without wishing to sound like Russell Martin the mentality of these players is terrible. But that’s part of what Still is paid to manage, and he needs to sort it fast.

That was crying out for Still to change the shape in the second half and he bottled it. Bringing players on to play in positions they don’t suit. I want to like him but he doesn’t help himself at times.

The only logic I can see is Still thought we’d have a comfortable win and that would be a good time to bring him on, no pressure to score, might bag one. Hasnt gone that way so far.
