This would surely make it impossible for newly promoted sides to improve their squads and establish themselves in the premier league. Not many players will sign for them with the possibility of having to play in the championship the following season. They might sign on a 1 year deal, but if they impress and a bigger club comes in for them...they're off.

South Korea.

I don't hold a grudge against Chambers. If it wasn't for him jumping ship, it would have been very likely that Schneiderlin would've been allowed to leave. I know who I'd rather have in the side.
-
Considering both of those sides have been average this season, it makes it even more stupid. We've played 3 of the good sides this season. West Ham, Swansea and Newcastle. Beaten all 3.

Isn't it nice having a manager that excels at making half time adjustments?
-
Can we finally learn our lesson about signing players that make it clear they don't want to come here?

Why would we want welbeck when we have Rodriguez?

That'll be a massive dilemma for lambert if he scores his first goal for Liverpool infront of the kop against us. Does he celebrate or does he not?
-
if they were that desperate for European football maybe they should've put some effort in at Sunderland instead of that pathetic display of apathy.

Fix a wifi booster to the outside of the hotel to extend the range.

Past it in what way? He finished the season playing some of the best football he has played in the 5 years he's been here.
-
Don't think we will ever sign a player that will make such an instant and consistent impact as he did, and certainly not for £1m. I don't think anybody (aside from the loons on here) has had a single bad word to say about him in the 5 years he was here, and that says it all really. Although that miss at Sunderland....

Two conflicting statements there again. "We are staying true to our plan and vision and, as a result, we have no need to accept any offers". "It remains our preference not to partake in any transfers until the new manager is in place"
-
Until we know who the new manager is and what squad we end up with at the end of the transfer window, no. At the moment it's all unknown, while we might be selling players we have no idea who/if they'll be replaced with yet. While we don't have a manager, we don't if the new one will be better or worse. We're certainly in limbo, but not meltdown. Some our fans must walk around in adult nappies the way they're carrying on.

Fair enough, I couldn't be bothered to sift through the terrible posts to find any good ones. Things change. Manager or no manager, if Liverpool pull out of the deal because we mess them around then we'll have missed out on a great deal (providing we get the price sky are quoting) Putting sentiment aside, if anyone can honestly said they'd turn down that kind of money for a 32 year old striker they're mental. We could use that money to buy Ings.

We really do have a bunch of bi-polar idiots in our fan base. It was only a few months ago that Lambert was "past it" and now it's all pseudo rage and tears no we've had a bid for him. He'll be 33 next season, and while he proves his doubters wrong time and time again, he clearly struggled for fitness in the middle third of the season, and after a World Cup he will struggle even more next season. If we can hold out for the £8-10mil that sky are reporting that is a great bit of business.

almost as odd as someone telling his daily mail bum chums about taking our own mattresses to away games as an example of the southampton way ?
-
Hahaha. He can't win. All the bedwetters on here moaning all week about communication and transparency and then when he offers it you're not happy. You couldn't make it up.

Credit rating of 999. Tried twice, declined both times. Absolutely baffled!
-
So because he knows we have players involved at the World Cup and would like to watch them, that means he has no interest in becoming manager soon? Jesus Christ.
-
I would imagine he got pretty used to that here...

Maybe they're a bit busy trying to find a replacement manager, to tell people what we already know.
