  1. I agree, but I also think, that all the elderly, regardless of status, should not have to pay for any utilities/rents etc, on retirement. Just my viewpoint.
  2. Broken record springs to mind! You do realise, there are sh1t loads of good, out of contract players, many will be desperate for a club come the first week of August, but choosy now. Also, as has been stated so many times on here, we only want players who offer improvement, not squad players, we should only spend when it's right for the club, not when it's right for the fans.
  3. You missed out golf clubs, got to be up there methinks!
  4. I'll be happy to take credit for it though!
  5. From what I've been told, this is a likely reality. ML loved the club, but the family want out. Before you ask, no, I can't say where I heard this from...sorry.
  6. See what you did there;)
  7. Doubt it, nor do they think we will do a Greece or Ireland, but we will if we don't slash public expenditure.
  8. Or the selling of our gold reserves!
  9. But he would welcome a move to a Championship side with ambitions and would be prepared to relocate from his Leicester home. And he has told The News he would love to work under the tutelage of Cotterill So! he has a desire to play lower league football, and not get paid!
  10. Don't see our club badge there, so I'd hazard a guess at no!
  11. Nah! they've already forgot that Labour got us into this mess in the first place, the voting public have very short memory's, except those of you who still demonise Maggie!
  12. For years! really? I didn't think Twitter had been around 'for years'?
  13. A laughable thread, once again based on rumour, and here we are at each others throats, yet again!
  14. The brain drain... http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/this-britain/brain-drain-from-uk-is-worst-in-the-world-512463.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1579345/Biggest-brain-drain-from-UK-in-50-years.html There has been a few instances in my lifetime, where government set out to heavily tax the higher wage earners, and in all cases, we got the 'brain drain!'
  15. Mark Randall, freed by Arse-enall
  16. I'd like to swap pensions with a teacher! as DD said, we bloody earn the pittence we get having done 22 years. I won't boast at the hot zones I had to be in, but stand by what I said about the public sector. Two years ago in my private sector job, we lost an Ninth of our wages, 5 guys laid off, and loss of conditions, angry! hell yes, but greatful to still have a job. With unpaid OT, I average a working week of 55 hours, sorry if I don't support your bleeding heart cause.
  17. So, we've paid for your education, we pay your wages, we paid for your generous pension, and you want sympathy! The private sector have had it too good, too long imo.
  18. Thank ****, 8 pages, and the message is sinking in, that no bid was made for AOC, and until you see it on the official site, he will remain a Saint.
  19. I see that the Premier clubs are starting to dump their excess, could this be what NA is waiting for...Zenden, Pires free agents now!
  20. I won't bother trying to quote all your other posts, from other threads, suffice to say, we are trying to run the club within our means. West Ham are over 100 million in debt, they are having to borrow money to keep running, is this the route you want Saints to follow, do you really want us to end up like those slimeballs down the road. Be realistic, we can't have players on 50 grand a week, it's not sustainable imho.
  21. This! I've seen them queuing up on the Itchen bridge, all over a shirt they haven't even seen yet ffs.
  22. He does seem to have your best intentions at heart. Nick, do you really believe these chancers had a sh1te load of money? do you not see the same signs as the rest of us?
  23. I should of gone to specsavers!
  24. No Poopey, my, they will be spitting fish bones over that!
