Just a slight change for you, to give it more emphasis! -

There Mr Lard, I've corrected it for you! -
It's simple...... ‘Soldiers will be called upon to make personal sacrifices – including the ultimate sacrifice – in the service of the Nation. In putting the needs of the nation and the Army before their own, they forgo some of the rights enjoyed by those outside the Armed Forces. In return, British soldiers must always be able to expect fair treatment, to be valued and respected as individuals, and that they (and their families) will be sustained and rewarded by commensurate terms and conditions of service.’ ....and it's not a new thing...... An early example of society’s obligations to those who have served in the Armed Forces can be found in the reign of Elizabeth I in the Act for the Necessary Relief of Soldiers and Necessary Relief of Soldiers and Mariners. Passed in 1593, the law laid down that each parish should contribute some money to help sick and wounded veterans. An updated version of the Act in 1601 makes very clear society’s obligations towards those who have served in war: ‘And forasmuch as it is found more needful than it was in the making of the said Acts, to provide Relief and Maintenance to Soldiers and Mariners that have lost their limbs, and disabled their Bodies in the Defence and Service of her Majesty and the State, in respect the Number of the said Soldiers is so much the greater, by how much her Majesty’s just and honourable defensive Wars are increased.

For Lard, who may not of read the article... Since his arrival, Adkins has transformed the team on the pitch, taking a club that was languishing near the foot of the table, and producing a side capable of attacking, free flowing football with the resilience and patience required to beat teams that raise their game when playing Southampton. The side lost just once at St. Mary's in the league following his appointment, with the spirit created in the team reflected by the fantastic continued support of the fans that have backed them so well home and away this season, which culminated in last weekend's 3-1 win over Walsall in front of over 31,000 supporters. -

I thought HMRC left some wriggle room, with an appeal if they wanted to, if so, they are waiting for this.

8 trueblueinkiwiland Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 03:45 PM i gotta say its looking grim, the takeover has once again proved to be another farce, if anyone really thinks we are gonna have an easier time of it next year with brighton and scum up they are having a laugh. They are two well oiled teams, with and established core of players who have played together for a period of time, they are on a high from being promoted and will be looking to take there new premier league infrastructure into a top 6 challenge. We still havn't got a training ground. We havn't got a youth system, we have a bunch of players who seem to generally turn up only when they want to put themselves into the shop window, a owner who couldn't care less, a top goalscorer who as profligate as he is, is still our main source of goals and is on his way out. Variable players pickin up wages on the sidelines, a manager who is clearly having big trouble with discipline, and major off field instability. We have worked a miracle by doing ok with all this crap going on behind the scenes this season, with 7 players approx left for next year and bugger all happening to rectify that I would be very surprised to see us achieve even close to what we have this season, I know a lot of people will say Im being very negative but thats how I see it. Clubs like saints and brighton have got the infrastructure and stability to have a go, we are complete dissaray again ! and i stress AGAIN! until we can find the off field stability and backing we are in big trouble. Shock horror, one of the phew who gets it!

Nothing, it's only mugs like us that would have to pay!
-
3rd time!
-
For me, Cotterill has done a wonderful job. He's taken up the role in a time when very, very few others would, and has kept us up. You have to laugh.....'kept us up', quality over quantity, wasn't it?
-
Yes it does. Some here are very short sighted in this. There are players in other country's, not just CCC cast off's. I can see a few coming in from overseas imho. I would take Owen like a shot though.
-
They'll need them
-
Agree, but their goalie!!........maybe

Some, I did see punches thrown between a steward and a Walsall player he was trying to stop getting near their fans...handbags, and they were quickly pulled apart. -
http://www.sports.ru/en/football/95425584.html «Are there any examples of Russian businessmen making good business on English clubs?» «If Roman Arkadyevich would decide to sell Chelsea, his profit from this operation will be very high.» Is he 'aving a laugh, or is he plain stupid? «Do you have any estimates of the amount required to get Portsmouth back into the Premier League?» «Our business plan has been approved by the Football League. Yes, it implies the improvement of the team’s squad and the reconstruction of the stadium, which will demand certain investments, but they won’t be sky-high. Moreover, next year the Fair Play regulations will come into effect in England, prohibiting the clubs from spending more than they earn. They're ****ed, before they start then

There won't be, the conservatives will sort out Labours mess, and win by a landslide.
-
So you think these 'hundreds of thousands' have no political thought process, bit disrespectful don't you think?
-
So! You only want your vote to mean something, if you win? Seems to me, that with attitudes like that, we should scrap voting all together, and issue guns to everyone, for a 'I shoot faster than you' system.
-
They aren't at Stoke either!
-
Perhaps to stop some less desirables from down the road, attending, and spoiling the day!
-
We could be surrounded by crooked clubs next season then!
