I've always felt that Boruc should be our No.1 keeper when he entered the building based on his 'top flight' experience. However, I think the need to keep any starting 11 changes to a minimum outweighs that train of thought at the moment. As such, I would stick with Gazza until we have another bad run ( if indeed we do...) and switch to Boruc at that point in time.

If people think the media love-in is vomit inducing now....just imagine what it'll be like in a few weeks time.

Ah! Oops Good to hear a 'good news' story although perhaps you should have added something like: "Nigel was great right up until the point he spat in my wife's Irish Coffee" (just to keep the cynics happy)

Congratulations on your graduation Ashley. Sounds like a great evening. Cheers for posting.

Hmmm... More bending over backwards by the FL or Pompey 'flexing' the rules under the radar...? Might be worth digging out the original statement issued by the FL re: the monthly contract restriction (or was it a self imposed restriction by Birch?)

@GraemeBailey: Sky Sports understands that Portsmouth have snapped up Queens Park Rangers starlet Frankie Sutherland. http://t.co/8SrglAUP

This is the crux of my not understanding how PKF can choose the far less lucrative route for the very people he's been deployed by the court to protect - i.e. the creditors Baffling
-
@pn_neil_allen: That's it. Window closed and it appears nothing else completed in time despite all #Pompey best attempts.

Btw, do we know any details about which court is hearing the case in December? Somewhere in London I assume?

What IF that higher offer hadn't come from Chainrai but from 'someone else'?

stuff invented now you wish was invented back then.....

What if.....Chainrai goes to court and says...."M'lud, I know of 'someone' who approached Birch with a much higher offer than the Trust a few months ago but Birch turned them away. Surely Birch is duty bound to consider a higher bid to protect me as a major creditor, your honour? That after all is why the court appointed him in the first place"

@L1minus10 what are chances of court allowing Birch to sell FP to PST for £10m less than Birch valued it at a few months ago? @colinfarmery: There have been 5 independent valuations. All are lower than the 2.6m offered, so I'd say the chances are 'good'. @Lord_Trousers PKF concurred with the book value of £13.2m in their April 2012 report: http://t.co/rm1rHUYp @colinfarmery: That's why they're accountants not valuers... ;o) It's worth no more than 2.5m if there's a viable club @Lord_Palmerston: PKF also said they had reservations about information they were working with at the time. @Lord_Trousers: They had 2 months to ratify valuation of the ground before producing that first report

@pn_neil_allen: #Pompey set to sign Jake Jervis on loan from Birmingham. More on http://t.co/WcKZX2ZV

Portsmouth FC @officialpompey According to talksport Reading have refused to allow Mikkel Andersen to stay at #Pompey Portsmouth FC @officialpompey That's completely wrong - he's actually returned because emergency loans can only last a maximum of 93 days #pompey Erm....IIRC wasn't UnAppy trying to get him to extend his stay before he departed for Blackpool....?

Indeed. In fact, weren't they on the creditors list the last two Admins? #mugs It's only taken 5 years but AT LAST one of them gets it!

If the landlord is adding 10p onto the price of a pint one assumes he'll have to pay a portion of that as VAT..... (yes, I know, I know....Pompey....tax....in the same sentence....)

@PKF_UK: Hotels across the UK enjoy a strong October, says PKF's Govinda Singh - http://t.co/QeeTkCXk

Analogy of the month award sewn up right there

Why they think that encouraging fans to borrow £1000 with the sole purpose of maintaining a morally corrupt club's league status is more noble than starting a Phoenix club in the lower leagues is beyond me
-
Indeed. Something else they "don't get" when they start comparing apples with oranges down Pompey way
