1. @jezatron: seeing as loads of scummers are trolling #pompey posts... le tissier was average & fat... just looked ok playing with a bunch of turdburgers
 2. http://portus-eg.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/pompey-near-end.html?
 3. Here we go again... @pn_neil_allen: RT @joemichalczuk: Any I urge every Pompey fan who can afford it does the same - there is no other option for the survival of PFC ...the Pompey public bring asked to poor good money after bad. In fact, they'd be paying twice given that the council has already committed their council tax. Just do the intellectual thing and start over again. You can then plough the "millions" that you've raised into yielding the club up from the roots rather than chasing after yet more debt. Sigh.
 4. Them too
 5. Life's a distraction
 6. So, does that mean the players who have left as heros are now temporarily villains again? Shouldn't a certain local journalist be out there hounding and intimidating them again by now? Time is afterall very short...
 7. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19273525 Hmmm....When are these people going to realise that it's blindly believing everything they've been told over the last five years that has got them into this mess in the first place...?
 8. Tories out!
 9. Congratulations to Bearsy....I see he has thread locking privileges now... I thought there might have been an announcement about his appointment though.
 10. The trouble is, I'm sure the Trust still see it as a fallback option rather than the first-choice option. Clinging onto the old carcass won't solve any problems in the long run. The clever move for the Trust now would be to advise Birch to put the old club to sleep and start a new one but the fans have never seen it that way so I can't see them taking the initiative on this one. But, of course, if/when it does happen I'm sure we'll hear someone declare "it's what we really wanted all along"...
 11. Matt Slater ‏@mattslaterbbc Pompey fans, @colinfarmery on 5 Live at 1650.
 12. It's PTS FFS! PST is the Pompey Supporters Trust.
 13. I've been thinking the same thing....this signing of a "non-contract" malarkey sounds like a bit of an oxymoron to me....another loophole for Pompey (and other clubs in trouble) to exploit me thinks. It feels a bit like when you're losing at Monopoly and you start mortgaging everything under the sun to pay for landing on Mayfair....just before you land on Income Tax after passing GO... *(yes, I know, paying a tax bill is a bad example to use in Pompey's case)
 14. 14:12

Jordan : And Brian Howard is the triallist you guys want to see sign the most

In other words, the one that would probably cost the most.....no change there then.....
 15. Neil Allen ‏@pn_neil_allen To those rubberneckers continuing to relish in the #Pompey decline, Portpin withdrawal does not mean liquidation. Don't forget the Trust....
 16. He either misunderstood or was trying to mislead....
 17. Great minds thinking alike sir! The guess is it's part of the parachute payments from last week that hasn't been pre-allocated for other costs....yet....

Wouldn't put anything past them

Where's this £3m quid come from that he keeps saying is "in the club". I thought they were skint? Or has that just been syphoned off from the latest PPs?
 19. Yay...got another one in.... 13:35

Comment From Jordan You say that we can still be competitive in League One...what is your definition of "competitive"? Avoiding relegation? Mid table safety? Play-offs? Auto-promotion? PUP (we have great tastes in names by the way!)

24. 13:28

Jordan : The issue of compromise deals is a thorny one, I feel, when it comes to the truyt. My understanding is they have said they will have to re-negotiate with players. I can imagine that being a logistical nightmare
