  1. It was over the line but wasn't a goal. FFS
  2. I'm quite enjoying the slaps to be honest
  3. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4384558/Andew-Surman-signs-new-three-year-Norwich-City-contract.html Shame....outside chance I thought he might have been on our radar...
  4. Can we have the technology for the more obvious bad offside decisions too please....?
  5. I believe so
  6. brian howe ‏@brianhowe01 Pompey supporters trust still seem unable to make a realistic bid for the club. Shame. Knowing what I know. Mr Chanrai is the only choice and I trust him to take the club forward. I would willingly be part of his team. Jonny Barrett ‏@BarrettJonny Glad @brianhowe01 isn't part of our club. Won't help fans who love the club but happy to work with the man who brought us to our knees #PFC brian howe ‏@brianhowe01 Can anyone factually state what Mr Chanrai has ever done wrong ? Not rumours. FACTS.
  7. Meanwhile....good news for Coventry City.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18523185 Would be a shame if all those players "desperate" to join Pompey were now snatched from under their nose by one of the bigger teams in League One....
  8. We're naturists so neither of us wear any clothes at home* (*This post was brought to you by the Slightly Disturbing Mental Images Society)
  9. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18518286 UK unemployment falls by 51,000
  10. I'm in a similar boat - me and my 12 year old go to a similar number of games per season. I'd be interested in principle but (a) would need to clear the up front spend with the missus (!) and (b) would need to be convinced that the logistics would work (I.e. splitting the games up) The trouble is that I typically don't know what days I'm free to get to games until relatively close to the games. It's a good idea though which would be nice to see if there's any chance of getting it to work.... Will have a chat about it with the boss lady tonight...
  11. Appleton is adamant that free of the constraints of administration and Football League monitoring, he would have all 18 on board by now. Appleton: "Players are there hanging on and hanging on and hanging because Pompey are an attractive club for a lot of players out there – Championship players as well. Once the football club comes out of administration I think there will be a number of players who would be desperate to join us."

  13. It was a pretty pragmatic match reaction thread considering.... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?29466-Rochdale-2-0-Southampton-Post-Match-Reaction&highlight=rochdale
  14. I buy my meat & veg from the local farm shop. Better quality, better taste and cheaper than a takeaway. Win, win, win
  15. He knows them well enough for HMRC to fight for him in court to become the administrator ahead of UHY Hacker....
  16. Does anyone (nutjobs on here or otherwise) actually know what the percentage stake each significant creditor has in the CVA vote, or is that classified information? If we don't know (officially), is anyone able to hazzard an edjucated guess as to how much percentage each significant creditor has and, as such, work out the likely outcome of the CVA vote? I think we all pretty much have the same hunch that Chainrai has enough percentage to usher his own CVA through but do we actually know that for sure....?
  17. I was thinking the same....I 'look after' a website for a band but we rarely update it these days due to most fan traffic going via Facebook and the like. That said, it's probably still a good idea to have a website as a formal 'portal' to direct fans to your social network pages if nothing else.
  18. Hang on.....Hasn't Chainrai already declared that his CVA excludes paying off the wages (in full)? So, the Trust and Chainrai are in the same (sinking) boat there, surely? Why would this "expert in football finance" choose to highlight the Trust's inability to pay the wages over and above Chainrai's inability (aka refusal)?
  19. So, the creditors are being asked to vote on a proposal without knowing what the alternative is....? Marvellous...
  20. Sorry....I was generalising... :-)
  21. Non-Daily Mail readers....obsessed with the content of a publication they don't read since 1947
  22. Generalisations? On an Internet forum? Nah, can't see that catching on somehow...
  23. 'Sequoia'....a name already associated with South Coast takeover sagas of course.... :-)
