  1. @officialsaints: Pre-@SpursOfficial press day at St Mary's. José Fonte and James Ward-Prowse have already spoken to the media. Gaffer up next... #saintsfc @officialsaints: Nigel Adkins: "Training has been good this week. The lads have responded (to last week's loss) in the appropriate manner." #saintsfc @officialsaints: Nigel: "We're scoring goals so we go into games with belief that we can win, but we need to address the amount we're conceding." #saintsfc @officialsaints: Adkins says Gast?n Ram?rez, Frazer Richardson and Jack Cork still out injured. Luke Shaw and Danny Fox resumed training today. #saintsfc
  2. Ssshhhh....,don't broadcast that FFS....they'll think we're a bunch of obsessed nutjobs or weirdos or something... :-)
  3. @solentsport: Michael Appleton not happy with #afcb recalling Wes Thomas before #pompey play Sheff Utd , especially as the Cherries don't play midweek Awwww.....Poor old Pompey...my heart weeps...
  4. I'd like to think that's the case...
  5. @TonyHusbandBBC: #pompey #afcb Cherries have recalled Wes Thomas from his loan spell at Fratton Park Cue story in local press where Appy proclaims they sent him back because they're after a better replacement...
  6. Wouldn't surprise me
  7. Just thought I'd make the important word stand out a bit more

  9. All of which is missing the point....regardless of how specific the 'information' people have posted on here has been, it's been labelled "deluded conspiracy" by many a Pompey fan. You can't have it both ways....either the information was so vague and unspecific that there was nothing to get all wound up about or it was specific and wildly inaccurate. How can people be deluded if they're not actually posting about anything worthy of delusion...? Maybe people weren't being very specific for the very "legal reasons" you mention... Anyway, this thread is all about having a chortle at Pompey's plight more than anything else. On that level its been highly accurate and successful.
  10. He seems to know an awful lot about a thread that he urges others not to read.... So, let's get this right.... Information spouted by scummer nutjobs = paranoid speculation Same information embellished and spouted by Pompey fan months/years later = insightful genius
  11. I'm guessing their train of thought is that they've managed to squirm their way out of proper punishment for so long that there's a possibility the Football League will lose their bottle yet again....he may have a point! That said, the fact that Mr Hall's blog has supposedly "blown the lid on the dodgy dealings of previous owners" that has actually given the football league more evidence with which to retrospectively punish them some more...in theory...
  12. Man management Appy style... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-skipper-told-to-change-his-ways-1-4411806
  13. @MarkJLittlewood: @BileysMullet @bbcquestiontime nice pic. I shall do my best to ask for an end to cheating, tax avoiding football clubs. @BileysMullet: @MarkJLittlewood as opposed to mortgage avoiding clubs such as your own. Any more off shore loans for your club this month :-) @MarkJLittlewood: @BileysMullet sure hope so. Loans are fine. Writing off £150m at the cost of local charities and biz is just horrific. Disgusting stuff.
  14. I see the Pompey intelligentsia are out in force tonight... @pn_neil_allen: Essential viewing on BBC Question Time tonight. Obsessive expert on all things #Pompey and occasional Southampton fan @markjlittlewood on. @SOSPompey: Who's this tosser Mark Littlewood? @pn_neil_allen: @SOSPompey Well he's always got a wildly-inaccurate opinion on Pompey and none on his own football team. @SOSPompey: @pn_neil_allen why is he on Question Time? @jayr1972: @SOSPompey @pn_neil_allen tonights topic is tedious scummer ****s
  15. Nope. My mind is always open to either side being correct :-)
  16. Indeed. Believe the journo out to make a make for themselves and a story out of nothing every time I say...

  18. Yes, I saw those too. As I say, it depends whose account you believe. The train operator doesn't paint the same picture (cue conspiracy theory about Virgin not wanting to rock the boat after government u-turn on franchise...)
  19. He tried to get away with paying for an upgrade? That's a different version to the one I've read. Would be interested to know what your source is on that one. From that Telegraph article (above): Hardly sounds like fare evasion to me. Depends who one choses to believe I guess.... Btw, Osborne is far from my favourite MP but he sets himself up as a bit of an easy target granted.
