  1. @edwestonline: Exit poll in Tower Hamlets has Johnson on 20%, Paddick on 7%, Jones on 7% and Livingstone on 105%
  2. @RaheemJKassam: Miliband is such a tool. "I bring you news from Scotland!" he says to Southampton crowd. Thanks Ed. This isn't 1840. #londonelects
  3. You seem to be keen to portray the cuts as some kind of exclusive Tory crusade. All three main parties said before the general election that widespread cuts were necessary and despite the retrospective rhetoric of the Labour Party there wasn't a huge difference in the rate and quantity of cuts being proposed. Whichever party had assumed power in 2010 there would have had to have been unpalatable cuts.
  4. Is this the first ever poll involving MLT that we've failed to rig? Disappointing.
  5. I give the 'ordinary folk' more credit than that. I'm sure people can see the principle behind reducing the high rate of tax to 5% above what Labour held it at, whilst at the same time removing a record number of low earners out of tax altogether
  6. That's gotta be some kind of record....back to back promotions without picking up a MotM award
  7. Thought so....That's almost bonkers! If only he'd kept us in the top 2 all season...
  8. If only he'd reduced it to the 40% that Labour held it at for most of their tenure... ;-)
  9. :-)) Talking of which, am I right in thinking that Adkins didn't win a single manager of the month award this season?
  10. And another similarly sickening story just featured on the BBC news channel: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-shropshire-17942687 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-17867208
  11. Some might venture that the league we are in now is 200% better than the league we were in 2 years ago.
  12. It's ok...looks like Boris may lose the London mayoralty after all... I'm sure Dave will step aside for Boris to step in and save the day.... :-)
  13. Exactly. The Tories did equally badly in the 1981 council elections...anyone else seeing a pattern?
  14. This is almost looking as bad for Cameron as it did for Blair in the council elections of 1999....
  15. @TomCoull: Ed Chamberlain from Sky Sports is the host. Graham Poll is one of the guest speakers. Should be entertaining! Highlights will be on Player.
  16. @officialsaints: Good evening from the #SaintsFC end-of-season awards night. We'll be keeping you informed of who's won what so stay tuned...
  17. Red Ken coming up on the rails....a photo finish with Boris on the cards...?
  18. @kristemple: Ed Miliband hit by an egg in Shirley, Southampton ....... #saintsfc #eggbreakingnews I wondered where Dune was this afternoon... ;-)

    Why......

  20. Ed Milliband about to speak live from Southampton. Lots of red balloons in shot...a homage to our promotion no doubt. Nice touch
  21. I'm not talking about stealing cars, I'm talking about someone using their own car to break the law. So, the analogy is: own car = access to the Internet (i.e. lawful); downloading/sharing copyrighted material = driving at 40 in a 30 zone and hitting a pedestrian (i.e. unlawful)
  22. I must admit to emitting a small yelp of delight when Theo said that last night. He echos my thinking entirely on that one. Why anyone trusts politicians and public servants to spend their money more wisely than they can themselves is beyond me.
