The only place West Ham are after Lambert is in the alphabet. Fact.

Walked past Southwark Crown Court today. They've already got the temporary crowd barriers up. Can't think why they believe there'll be so much press and public interested in this one...

The plot thickens.... @joshooiveld20: "@GeorgeRepard: @joshooiveld20 agree #HMV cards are useless. after buying a PS3 and games I could only afford an inflatable guitar! Terrible

@joshooiveld20: Got my HMV card for two years, started madly collecting points. Now found out the gifts they have are absolutely #shocking #dissapointed.. Make of that what you will...

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Manchester-United-Michael-Owen-believes-can-play-for-England-again-after-manager-Fabio-Capello-leaves-article855106.html Owen looking to get back into the England squad (after Capello leaves in the summer one assumes).... Obviously worth a *chortle* but what better way to get back up to match fitness than be loaned out to a top of the table Championshiop side for the rest of this season with a view to a permanent deal (for say 2 years) if/when said table topping championship side get promoted.... (Keep in view......every so often I write stuff that I don't believe either....)

Is that a genuine offer?

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/great-matches/pompey_seal_midfielder_deal_1_3436394 Published on Thursday 19 January 2012 14:11 Pompey have completed the signing of Kelvin Etuhu. The 23-year-old winger has penned a deal until the end of the season, with the option of another year. Etuhu will go straight into the Blues’ squad for this weekend’s trip to his former club Cardiff. Nigerian-born Etuhu was a free agent after being released by Manchester City last March following a jail term for assault. He was allowed to be brought in by the Football League after Hermann Hreidarsson joined Coventry on Monday. Still trading then....

Was he trying to sell you one of these...? Or maybe one of these...? (mild swear word alert so skip over the rest of this post if you're under 16 or of delicate character)

Clutching at straws somewhat but maybe we're fending off bids from Championship rivals because Adkins and Cortese have got a 'cash + player' bid lined up for Hooper...?

Lennon's having to do a lot of fending off this window it would seem.... http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/kris-commons-not-for-sale-as-new-bhoy-radiu-ibrahim-signs-on-1.1144324 Kris Commons not for sale as new Bhoy Radiu Ibrahim signs on 19 Jan 2012 NEIL LENNON today moved quickly to dismiss speculation Kris Commons could be heading back to England. The midfielder, who joined the club from Derby in a £300,000 move this time last year, made an immediate impact, with 14 goals in 18 starts. But Commons has failed to maintain that standard this season, and injury and suspension have restricted him to just 13 appearances. All of this has come against a backdrop of rumours of a fall-out with the manager, something which has been vehemently denied by both sides.

Fortnum and Masons food hall.

Is that different (separate pools of) money on each or the same money charged twice to both? (the more alert of you have probably deduced that I've completely lost the plot as to who owns and owes what!)

Agree that he shouldn't go anywhere near any of our promotion rivals. That said, if he helped West Ham beat our mutual rivals (Middlesbrough, Reading, Cardiff, Palarse, etc) then I suppose that might actually work in our favour... Hmmm, not sure what I think now....

^This People bemoan the fact that the iPhone / iPad are incompatible with flashplayer but to me it's more the other way around. How about the likes of SaintsPlayer move with the times and stream their video content in the latest 'industry standard' format? Call me non-old fashioned.... That is all.

So, CSI could be a creditor of one of its own subsidiaries, even though it's in administration itself? Sorry, just thinking out loud here!
-
And...IF PFC2010 was to go into administration, could AA do both CSI and PFC2010 at the same time (legally and/or technically)? Just thinking ahead to the next installment....!

Beat me to it.... Brighton and Hove Albion players questioned over sex assault Six men, believed to be Brighton and Hove Albion footballers, have been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman in the city. Sussex Police said five men from Brighton and one from Dorset had been questioned about an attack in July. The force said an 18-year-old man, an 19-year-old, two men aged 20 and one aged 24, all from Brighton, and a 20-year-old from Dorset had been arrested. Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club has not yet commented.

Quick(ish) question.... If 'Portsmouth FC 2010' was to go into administration, who would it's main creditors be? Chainrai is obviously CSI's main creditor but who are Pompey's? Just thinking that, as I understand it, there are three ways of going into administration.....the company puts itself into admin or one of it's main creditors calls in the administrator (as Chainrai did re: CSI) or the company's bank calls in the administrator. Given CSI and Portsmouth FC 2010 are separate economic entities I assume they have a different set of creditors...

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/celtic/2012/01/19/celtic-striker-anthony-stokes-neil-lennon-convinced-us-we-could-overturn-rangers-15-point-lead-in-just-five-weeks-86908-23706683/ But while Stokes is delighted at the recent transformation under Lennon, he knows it would be folly to think the hard work has been done. The Dubliner is also aware it would be extremely dangerous to read too much into the financial uncertainty at Ibrox and the need for Rangers to offload players in the January window. He said: “They have their own worries over there but just look at the way they have been playing in the last few weeks. They have been doing reasonably well and winning games and it is obviously not affecting them that much. “ We know it’s going to be a battle to the end of the season so we have to keep playing well. “I think the club is always looking at players and looking to strengthen but the squad we have at the moment is very strong. “Maybe up front is the only place where we are a little short. I don’texpect anything but I think if we get an injury up front then we might be a little light.” Of more concern to Stokes is the need to ensure his strike partner, Gary Hooper, remains at Parkhead beyond the end of the month. Southampton have already made three bids for Hooper and are prepared to triple his current £12,000-a-week pay packet in a bid to lure him to theChampionship. Stokes is only too well aware of the riches on offer down south, having turned down the chance to sign for Celtic first time around when he opted to join Sunderland. Hooper now faces a similar dilemma and must decide whether he wants to play in the Champions League and attempt to win trebles or simply treble his earnings. Stokes said: “I have no idea about the money side of things and what might get his attention. “Fingers crossed he will still be here come the end of the transfer window. “It’s all down to his personal ambition. When I went to Sunderland I was a bit too young and not mature enough to handle it. “From my point of view if you stay at a club like Celtic you have the European games and the chance to become a fans’ favourite if you do well. I think any player wants to win trophies. “It is a big decision he has to make. But up here you have the chance to win titles and as a footballer you want to win as much as possible. “I would be very disappointed if he went but it is part and parcel of football and if he does go then we have to get on with it.” Despite the continued speculation surrounding his future Stokes does not expect Hooper’s form to suffer. He added: “He is a massive player for us. Look at him on Saturday against Dundee United. He has one chance and scores one goal. I think the club will do everything they can to hold on to him. “As far as I’m aware he is happy here and enjoying his football, but I don’t know what he is thinking. “It can be unsettling for a player so I’m glad it has nothing to do with me. But at the weekend he didn’t look like a player who was unsettled. “I get on well with him and he’s a great lad to have around the place. I hope he stays. “He’s still a young player and is only going to get better.”

Let's hope Celtic is run by a businessman. You'd have to be daft to turn down such a return on investment. IMHO of course.

He's a legend, but would you want him touching your bottom?
