Andrew Surman Has Been Told He Can Leave.

The OP says that Surman has been told he can leave. Weston states that Surman has not been approached. Both could be true at the same time. -
Yeah, but everyone in the world would then start again on the same square. Socialist heaven n'est pas?

So, if everyone owes everyone else why doesn't everyone say: "whoa there....enough is enough....right, everyone put down their toys...step away....deep breath...right....everyone's now on zero...start the world again....Ready, steady....GO". Hey presto, world debt wiped put at a stroke. It's only a planet FFS

I'm looking for a portable battery booster for my iPhone and can see several options on the market. There seems to be two main types though: a) ones that come in an external case form that you slot one's iPhone into (e.g. http://www.powerskin.co.uk/ or http://www.juicepack.co.uk/batteries/juice-pack-airtm-iphone-3g-and-3g-s.html ) or b) one's that come as a block that one simply plugs into one's iPhone via a connection lead The main consideration for me is the solution that gives me the most additional charge time. The skin solutions seem to offer about 1 full re-charge whereas (I believe) the external block variety may offer more. That said, I like the concept of the skin ones. Any recommendations? cheers

A half-way-house 'pay-as-you-go' entry pass would be a good idea though (IMHO) It would work a bit like an Oyster card for London Transport. So, you buy a pre-loaded card with a number of games on it, with a reducing cost scale the more games you 'load up' in advance. This would be ideal for me. I can only get to c.10 games per season so a season ticket and pay-per-match are equally cost ineffective. It's a win-win for the club. They would get up front payments for a number of games from more people (money in the bank) and they would open up a large 'gift voucher' type market. Just think how many people would be happy to buy an advance purchase card as a birthday present (etc) for family and friends where a £300+ season ticket as a gift would be out of most people's budget range.

Marks and Sparkes are the same - always running out of the most popular sizes first. Stock control, my arse

Didn't Cortese blame Pinnacle/Begbies for delaying his and Markus's takeover, and thus for Saint's season getting off to a slow start, and he specifically mentioned that they lost one or two decent players as a result of this dithering? Suggests to me that he would have been happy to have retained Surman (and McGoldrick?), thus one can conclude he'd be happy to see him back. I reckon. -
With all these countries in debt there must be one or two bloody rich countries out there..... Can't the c.98% of countries in debt all join forces and say to the c.2% of countries in credit that we're all going to write-off our debts together and start again from scratch? Sorted, surely? What would happen then?

Indeed. But at least the pre-match cider down the pub is cheaper under the Tories. Every cloud... -
What's the debt of each of those countries as a percentage of their GDP? And how does that compare to the UK? (genuine question)

When is someone going to invent a data network that actually works consistently with the iPhone? It's a pile of cack. On my daily train journey up to London I get 3G coverage for about 10% of the journey. And When I'm walking around London I often get a 3G signal but no response whatsoever. Once again, an example of technology companies putting the cart before the horse. Get the infrastructure right before you start releasing hardware to use it FFS
