  1. I'd be looking longer term if I were him. Dropping to CCC will put him out of the limelight anyway (and thus quash any international aspirations he may still yearn for) so, in terms of his career, it would be no less damaging to drop two leagues in the short term...IMHO
  2. BA aren't that bad are they? What about the Unions? ;-)
  3. Ah, good spot. In that case, prevarication rules OK!
  4. I urge all Labour party members to vote Abbot
  5. Ah....how to deal with financial mis-management cleanly, concisely and efficiently. Are you watching Premier League/Football Association? Look and learn. (p.s. I'm not saying it's a good thing that Salisbury are in trouble, just comparing the way it's being dealt with verus the prevarication of the Premier League and FA over Pompey)
  6. Skates in Southampton? It'll never catch on

  12. If I was Surman, I'd rather drop two divisions to a club I love and should (in theory) overtake the likes of Forest over the next few years.
  13. Will there be a separate olympics section on here? I hope so.
  14. I thought the archery was being held at Lords?
  15. Who?
  16. Simple: Just type "hold 'em" and "suck" into a search engine
  17. Make the problem worse so that the inevitable belt tightening to come looks like "bigger, badder Tory cuts". You've at least got to hand it to Mandy for his ingenuity.
  18. Live (with Fred Harris)
  19. Of course, your average conspiracy theorist might suggest that Weston has been asked to post a denial whilst negotiations are at a delicate stage to deflect attention from the situation. Not a theory I would sign up to but there are some mad enough out there to believe it... :-)
  20. Phew... (p.s. get negotiating an extension now Mr Cortese!)
  21. I was just thinking the same.
