  1. Isn't the whole raison d'être for going into administration the fact that the company is unable to pay it's creditors in full? If it transpires that there is enough cash swilling around to pay the creditors '99%' ( or 'in full' to all intents and purposes) then doesn't that negate the rationale for going into administration in the first place? Slightly confused of 'Ampshire
  2. + 1
  3. Yes, and, like all 'stats' they can be spun whichever way one chooses...
  4. I'd be interested to know how knowing the start date of the season makes the random prediction of our first game any more scientific to predict....
  5. To me it simply means that if the 'holding company' goes into adminstration (e.g. Southampton Leisure Holdings) then the footballing subsidiary (e.g. Southampton Football Club Ltd) is also deemed to be in administration.
  6. That's an article from 18th May - posted on here at the time
  7. Yep, I highlighted this 'admission' on another thread earlier this afternoon. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=751617#post751617 It 'proves' that SFC would have successfully won any legal challenge that they launched against this. Hence Tony Lynham/Pinnacle/MLT sticking by their guns at the time and the Football League insisting that the club signed away their right to challenge them. Would have been interesting in one respect to have seen what would have happened if the new owners hadn't signed away their rights on this one....
  8. A loophole, of course, that wasn't closed before we (Lowe) tried to exploit it and then forced to accept the penalty anyway. Some might label this 'blackmailed' rather than 'forced' but you wouldn't catch me making that accusation.
  9. Forgive me if i'm missing something obvious but how does quoting specific examples (which happen to be below the average) disprove the accuracy of the average in question?
  10. Is that 'new' as in the kit or 'new' as in the mousemats? Most new 'miscellaneous' merchandise will carry the generic Saints stripes rather than the nuances of the current kit design. Or have I just had a 'whoooosh' moment...? :-)
  11. So, if it's changed from what he showed you before there'll be no harm in describing in intimate detail what showed you before.....go on, you know you want to.... :-) Can't believe one hasn't surfaced on EBAY yet....
  12. Q: Where do the Football League ultimately get their money from...... A: Joe Public

  14. Good call. You may be onto something there.
  15. Pompey at home after they receive an automatic one league demotion by the Football League.
  16. They've re-pulped the last matchday programme for this very purpose according to my sauces.
  17. I'm glad it wasn't me thinking of the obvious too!! Did he not have a camera on his phone either...?
  18. or as they call it in the trade "being a BA passenger" Sorry, couldn't resist. I'll now remove tongue from cheek ;-)
  19. Cheers Stu. Background is that I've got a mate who supports Dagenham and we always said we'd book an exec box for Saints vs Daggers game if we ever ended up in the same division.... I never imagined we'd have to put the plan into action!
