  1. I'm going to stick my neck out and say....17
  2. cheers - appreciated. PM me after the game and will sort out a rendezvous and/or exchange of address thanks
  3. Hey, leave me out of this!
  4. A quick reminder of the process for booking these 'donation tickets' online tonight or on the phone tomorrow from 9am, courtesy of the OS and Ticket Office.... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11703 Fans who are unable to make it to the Burnley match but who wish to donate their ticket to a local youngster can now do so thanks to a new scheme... The Ticket Office have responded quickly to several fans suggestions and the donation scheme has already proved popular. All tickets that are purchased in this way will be donated to young people who take part in some of the worthwhile projects delivered by Saints in the Community and will be helping to provide vital revenue for the Club for the last home game of the season. People wanting to donate their tickets can do so at the ticket office from 9am on Saturday morning. Or, as an alternative, supporters can this evening (or at any time) by calling the booking line (0800 2800 050) and using the following special customer number: 1153540 The booking line is open until 7pm on Friday night as normal.
  5. Nice one mate
  6. Cheers, thanks. Just wanted to double check that any remaining stumbling blocks were in the bidder's court rather than in the administrator's court.
  7. Nice pumps IMHO
  8. As I can't make it, would really appreciate it if someone could buy me one. Will repay + with interest (a.k.a. a beer or two) in due course!
  9. Quite possibly the most intelligent post I have ever seen on here. (that sounds slightly patronising but isn't meant to be)
  10. Cheers Derry. But, just to clarify...the advance stage that they have reached thus far means that the Administrator is 'happy' with their financial credentials?
  11. aye...that thought has occured to me too in the past!
  12. Yep, their database seems to recall any contact with the ticket office at any time in the relatively recent past. I was surprised when I phoned up earlier to do the donation booking - I normally book in my Dad's name as I know that his member ID still works but I gave my own name and up popped my address etc. It's probably 3 or 4 years since I've booked under my own name so, as Krissyboy says, if you've ever had contact with them then you should be able to do this online....in theory!)
  13. Nice one Echo. cheers
  14. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=12530&page=2
  15. Sorry, can't find one...yet...
  16. So, does this mean that the Administrator is 100% satisfied with their credentials (i..e. the 'proved funds' bit) and it now 'simply' down to the consortia to satisfy themselves that the accounts are in order? In other words, the way the process works, there is no step in the process from here on in whereby the administrator would decline their (combined?) offer, it's purely down the consortia satisfying themselves now?
  17. Sorry, my mistake...I'm getting my IQ mixed up with my age....
  18. I'm 40 and crying reading this thread... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=12549&page=3 I never thought football would get to me like this. Soppy old bugger Trousers
  19. I've just got back from a 3 hour pub stint and re-reading through this thread has made me cry...soppy old git...! Yes, the "how are they going to distribute these tickets at such short notice?" conundrum did occur to me too but, as Roswell posted earlier...it's great to have a nice problem for once rather than a bad one.... Whilst I'm not 100% in the "Lowe was bad for this club" camp, I'm convinced that a fan initiative like this simply wouldn't have happened under Lowe due to human nature... Reading and particpating in this thread has engendered a sense of the family and community spirit that once thrived at this club and hopefully this is a sign of the 'green shoots' of that spirit re-emerging. Let's not worry about the logistics of how these tickets are going to be distributed....it's the principle that counts and all I know is that some downtrodden kids are going to have a sparkle in their eyes tomorrow and that to me is what counts.... Can't see the screen anymore...too many tears in my eye... Soppy old bugger, News at Ten Hampshire
  20. I think they'll accept any combination but the 'default' is an Adult/Child pair at £30 for the two
  21. p.p.s. too many other stickies....hope this one doesn't get lost....wood for trees etc cheerio
  22. Heading off to the pub now. Final congrats to Roswell and the Ticket Office. Pride of Southampton p.s. keep pointing other threads at this one....
