  1. What time? Given the recent Saga saga we a time machine.
  2. Coffee? Could have been worse...
  3. Indeed. Which backs up my point somewhat. But as someone has pointed out, my point was somewhat rhetorical given the answer is "money"
  4. Are you looking for predictions of the 'official' seats sold figure or the actual number of people that will be in the stadium? (the latter of which we'll never know of course because they don't publish the actual number of people in the ground watching the game)
  5. Perhaps it's Lowe being canny and snapping up 'quality' League 1 standard players this season so that when, sorry, if we get relegated to league 1 then we'll be equipped with a team that's head and shoulders above the other League one teams because they've come from a higher league environment...? Or perhaps not... p.s. I use the word 'quality' advisedly....
  6. Been out of the loop for a few days.... Was wondering if the club ever issued a denial about this wages leak and/or condemned whoever did it? As any conspiracy theorist worth his salt will tell you, saying nowt about such an event is potentially revealing given all the other 'rumours' that are deemed worthy of a comment on the OS.... Not that I'm making accusations of inconsistency I hasten to add.... (advance apologies if the club have issued a comment and I missed it)
  7. I've got my bunting out in preparation (and, yes, that is a euphemism...)
  8. Sorry if already posted but why would anyone be "horrified" that their wages are public knowledge? The usual reason for someone being coy about their wages is that they are 'embarrassed' by earning either too little or too much. If he believes he's worth the amount he's being paid then why the big hang up about people knowing? It is afterall the general public that pay the lion's share of said wages. Talk about digging a hole for yourself....
  9. Why do these 'big club' fringe players stick with said clubs in the vein hope that they'll some day make it big whilst continually loaned out because they fail over several years to break into their first team? Surely it would be better to be settled in the first team of a lower league side as a 'permie' rather than flitting from pillar to post season after season? Dunno.

Should get a few bites with that one...
  11. Ah...the classic "get another plant to back up the ruse of another plant by claiming they are both Life Long Saints fans" manoeuvre. Nice try Everyone knows that anyone with a sub-100 post count with a join date of May 2007 is a bonefide plant....FACT
  12. "Will" or "might"....? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=153215&postcount=1
  13. He knew the risks he was taking by swapping "big fish in small pond" for "small fish in big pond".
  14. Puts Kaka's valuation into perspective.... It seems perverse that a UK Bank with Arabic backing can hold SLH to ransom over £5m yet people/organisations from the same generic wealth pool can splash out £100m + wages on one footballer. Madness.
  15. Nope. Didn't see anyone....

  17. Indeed. Are you assuming that BarcelonaSaint got the spelling wrong and meant Storrie....?

  19. Peter Edwin Storey (born September 7, 1945 in Farnham, Surrey) is an English former football player. Following his retirement from the game, Storey set up a market stall and later ran a pub. However, he also became known for various run-ins with the law. In 1979 he was fined for running a brothel, and later served time in prison for a variety of crimes; these include being involved in a coincounterfeiting ring, car theft, and illegally importing pornographic videos.[2][3] HCDAJFU?
