  1. Cheers.....whist we've had enough promises to 'spill the beans' on here over the last 18 months to open a new Heinz factory, I trust you to be the first to actually come up with said beans when the dust has settled on this latest 'approach'.
  2. Staveley with an 'ley' at the end? http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/liverpool/article3485789.ece

  5. I've got a feeling it might be his cousin but not 100% sure.....:smt048
  6. Stephen Gerrard's cousin
  7. If the evidence was so inconclusive how on Earth did it ever come to court? What a waste of taxpayers money
  8. Well done Fulthorpe & Co for managing to prise Keegan away from Newcastle to join your master plan. Offering Shearer in return was a masterstroke. IMHO of course....

  12. By jove. I think you've got it agent BTF. Nice work.
  13. Anyway, does 'diggers' have any news?
  14. Whitley Bay?
  15. Source? Anyway, it's all very easy for Merrington to nonchalantly keep saying "it's still happening" as it has no tangibility or consequence. This is because something that is infinite can accurately be described as "still happening". I cite the creation of planet Earth as an example (although a bad example as the takeover has technically been going on for longer than evolution itself). ----------------------------------------------------------- Dear Mssrs Merrington and Fulthorpe, Please re-arrange the following well know sentence:- money your Put is mouth your where Fondest regards, Lord Trousers
  16. Depends if you're a rich Arab or not.
  17. Sounds like it might be worth a sleuth-like trawl through the online planning records on the Southampton council 'gov.uk' website then......
  18. Done
  19. Probably a educated guess based on the fact it's taken nearly a year for them not to come up with enough cash to buy a little old club like ours..... The protracted delay sort of gives the game away....IMHO of course....
  20. I sort of recall this one being churned around this time last year. My recollection was that there were 3 different "window" deadlines ....a transfer window, a (non-emergency) loan window for non-premier league teams, and finally an emergency loan window. I could of course be imagining the middle one of these....
  21. More like a suppository perhaps?
  22. That OS article doesn't stack up though.... "With the transfer window slamming shut at midnight tonight, Saints were keen to add another promising young option to their squad." "Gasmi joins on a season long loan, with an option to purchase" If it's a loan then tonight's transfer window deadline doesn't come into it....does it? OS spin or just an oversight?
  23. Was thinking more of something that went alongside Spiderman (Scheiderlin). Perhaps Gasmi is French for Batwoman (for example)
  24. Does his name sound like a super hero if pronounced correctly?
