What he said. Let's compare apples with apples rather than cumquats with badgers.

Look on the bright side.....At least last night's poor performance has had the effect of knocking this takeover thread malarkey onto page 2.....

I do indeed get the picture....of course we'd all be clamouring for player reaction if there wasn't any....the trouble is, when we do get 'player reactions' we know that they are 'on message'. So, yes, let there be a clamouring for player reactions but, Oh Lord, let those clamourings be for something that's actually worth reading rather than the usual 'quote by numbers' articles we always get. Given that we would never get a 'warts and all' player reaction then, IMHO, that's worse than getting nowt.... FFS

I have a serious question....(well, serious for me anyway...) IF we go into administration will it be something that happens in a 'big bang' fashion or will there be (public domain) tale-tell signs in the days preceding that someone has kicked off the preliminary stages of the process? And I don't mean circumstantial 'signs' as in: the team playing sh1te, crowds dwindling, parts of the ground being closed, etc, but tangible signs. Isn't there some sort of notice period that the creditors have to give to the debtor (SFC/SLH) to give them opportunity to bail themselves out with one last throw of the dice? Big bang or slow creeping death?

Wins are much overrated IMO

....to be continued? p.s. you have that 'interesting' mix of 'May 2007' join date with 'not many posts'. Are you Michael Nank per chance? Please, for the love of God, be Michael Nank

Why do they need to trot out a player at all? We all know that they are saying what the powers that be want them to say. We just need one post match article by Jan acknowledging how crap we were and leave it at that. Trotting out player after player (as there will surely be more to come before the weekend) saying "we're gutted for the fans....we'll do better next time....this is just a blip....the only way is up" is simply an insult to our intelligence. There is dignity in silence (following the one post-mortem article). p.s. Just because every other club trots out the same BS doesn't make it any less patronising....

Given Lowe picks the team (allegedly) I'd expect him to be there TBH....

Why not?

"Oh yes it will...."

Apologies to the people who were sceptical and or negative

You'll find that a PR department with several people using a single member name will show inconsistencies from time to time.... -

Did you have a Saints sticker on your car window? My sister-in-law was on the way up to Nottingham this morning and saw a car driving south with a Saints sticker....true story. -

Yes...I also suggested at the turn of the year that administration could be what we need in the long term - short term pain...long term gain. And, yes, I also got slated for it....but not as much as your good self!

Did West Ham put out their strongest team? Let's compare like-with-like perhaps....

Isn't that what Sting used to do?

Difference is, WGS got off to a bad start with (relatively) decent players whereas JP has got off to a bad start with (relatively) poor players. Meaning WGS had room for a 3-point turn whereas JP is heading down a narrow cul-de-sac in a car without a reverse gear (crap analogy, crap team)

Even Diddy David Hamilton would do better than this lot
