Because he's played really well up until relatively recently?

Don't start that FFS....

Very soft penalty IMO

It's the repetition, without knowing when to stop making the same point over and over, that I view as 'childish'. (I've been guilty of it myself on this forum at times down the years, and I've had two bickering kids, so recognise the symptoms!) Anyway, we're in danger of ending up in the same whirlpool of ever decreasing circles so I'll duck out there and leave you to it. You actually make some decent points but, as has been pointed out to you on several occassions, you end up undermining your points by banging on about the same thing over and over. Talking of which.... over and out!

I'm interested in adult/intellectual threads about our players, just not childish playground-esque 'discussions'...
-
Cheers Harold! (it would appear that @hypochondriac already knows what the kit is but is a little too shy to explicity admit it... )
-
I'll leave you to it then. I'll give you a shout if I learn anything new from your ongoing 'discussions'...
-
You've ducked my question, but I guess that underlines why these futile 'discussions' end up going round in circles.
-
Maybe try rising above it rather than resorting to the playground-level intellect of asking the same question over and over again when you know you won't get a different answer?
-
The point I believe egg was making is that he already knows what you (and Dman) think of Broja and that it's futile/pointless repeating the same thing over and over again. What does telling us what we already know dozens of times a day actually achieve?
-
Poor spelling is a much bigger issue IMO.
-
With all due respect, that's the sort of thing that a 9 year old would come out with when confronted by a teacher about a playground spat with another kid.... "I'm right" "No, I'm right" "No, you're wrong" "No, you're wrong" "Ner ner ner ner ner" "Wah wah wah"

Concur with much of what you say there. The only bit I would possibly question is "his seemingly inability to adapt and change when things are clearly going wrong". I think we witnessed between December and March that he is able to adapt and change; indeed quite a few of the Ralph 'anti-cult' praised him for "finally doing what we've been saying for ages that he should do". The baffling thing for me is why Ralph can get things right for a given period of time and then, seemingly, get things wrong for a similar period of time.
-
Either of those seem eminently reasonable hypotheses to me
-
I'd be tempted to go back to our top 6 form of December to March for this one. Call me old fashioned.
-
I think you should repeat this at least 19 times a week, just in case people miss it the first 18 times
-
At least that's an improvement on "a few games"
-
How did "having a lot of heart" help Burnley out earlier in the season when they were performing much worse than us?
-
I would venture that the majority of posters on here would acknowledge that Broja has been in poor form since his purple patch earlier in the season (when most pundits were raving about him). How about naming, say, 3 posters who "aren't seeing this"...?
-
I've lost count of the number of seasons we've more or less secured safety then gone off the boil. Very frustrating from a supporter's point of view. Agree that the manager has to take a lion's share of the blame for tolerating players that are obviously not putting in 100%. Only consolation is that Everton fans will be equally pissed off with that Saints performance. Meh.

Indeed

I disagree. We look like a team that is safe and already on the proverbial beach. Burnley, however, do look like a team fighting for their lives
