Yep, I thought that too... It's not really the answer you'd expect about a player that is simply returning from injury. I know it puts me on the fringes of the conspiracy theorist camp but there are definite vibes that suggest there is more to it they're overtly letting on.

RH: "Stuey has been training this week and we will decide if he can be involved in the squad this weekend" (or words to that effect)

Defo a crazy stat, but it doesn't surprise me either. For me, he's the first name on the starting 11 team sheet every time. He's so pivotal to the way we play. We don't have anyone else with the same attributes, and without him Ralph's system falters.

Forecourts having temporary fuel hiatuses happens from time to time. I went to my local garage to fill up about 4 months ago and they had run out of petrol. So I went back home and filled up the next day. It's not the closure that causes panic buying, per se, it's how it's perceived, and how it's reported contributes to the perception. Are you suggesting the way it was reported didn't contribute to what happened next at all?

I think you've successfully answered your own question there! (I predict I'm going to spend all afternoon on the toilet... now, where did I put that packet of laxatives...)
-
I've no idea, hence asking if you knew.
-
I was referring to the reported percentage closures at the time the story first broke, not what it is now...

How many other countries had salivating TV reporters camped out at petrol station forecourts to report an impending "fuel crisis" on the back of 0.4% of petrol stations being temporarily closed?

Can't you dust off the abacus that the previous football club at Fratton Park used to tot up the amount they stole from the taxpayer and charities in order to retrospectively pay for the FA Cup trophy they bought?
-
It shouldn't be the aim but, alas, when a club is in a state of ownership limbo, it's the unfortunate reality.

Come on chaps. We all know calendar year stats are meaningless
-
Sounds good, but I don't really see understand this stats malarkey. Can someone distill this into layman's terms?
-
Calendar year records are meaningless (or so we were told 9 months ago)
-
Not really, but cheers for the clarification 👍

South coast team? Top of the league early doors? It'll only end in tears...

Apologies, sir, if I've misinterpreted what you said but I think you may have conflated "freedom of movement" and "movement"? My understanding of Brexit (which could be wrong, of course) is that "freedom of movement" was to be replaced with "controlled movement". i.e. movement on a 'supply & demand' basis. I accept that the government could be guilty of botching the "controlled movement" concept but could it not be made to work if implemented competently? Or are you actually saying it's black and white... i.e. You either of have free movement or no movement at all and anything in-between could never be made to work? Genuine clarification question on my part, not looking for a bun fight about it

Pragmatism? On the Saintsweb forum? Nah, can't see that catching on

Given Jiminez is holding Bednarek's arm and Bednarek is holding Jiminez's shirt, doesn't who should've been awarded a foul depend on who grabbed who first? (I've no idea who grabbed who first btw)

Yes, it was 6 days ago. Pompey fan in selective memory shocker... Which reminds me, must remember to defrost the mince for this evening otherwise it'll be far too thick.

The more you post, the more aroused and moister I get. Keep it up big boy 😘 #winwin #captainhindsight #damppants

If it's about the 'bigger picture' rather than individual games, then why do people only jump on the 'Ralph Out' thread after a defeat? Why not the same clamour after last week's game? It's either about the bigger picture, or it isn't.

Actually, now you mention it, on the occasions that Livramento drives forward he does remind me of Stuart Armstrong a tad. So, good call I reckon, especially if SA is destined to be out long term.
