This has a whiff of that company during the Saints takeover days that supposedly had something to do with oil rigs. (N something? Can't remember)... turned out to be a front for something else and the website was swiftly taken down.... that said, nothing like like a good old fashioned conspiracy theory...

What aspect of the new kit design is likely to cause disappointment? (Apart from the sponsor logo) cheers

Thinking out loud, is this a way of Gao pumping money into the club without falling foul of the FFP rules...?
  9. We scored 9 points in 16 games before Hassenhuttl took over. Its not unreasonable to summise that we'd have achieved significantly more than 9 points in those 16 games had Hasenhuttl been manager from the start of the season. Football is about opinions. I respect your opinion that we wouldn't have scraped into the top 10 with Ralph at the helm for the whole season (you may well be right, but we'll never know), so how about respecting my opinion that I think we would have just about got into the top 10 rather than scoff every time someone expresses a hunch that you don't agree with and trott out the highly intellectual "dinlow" retort...? Yes, we've got a decidedly average squad. Yes, we need to significantly improve the squad. Yes, we agree on more than we disagree. Love and peace
  10. Thank you kindly sir. Touched that you remembered x
  11. My cousin supports Colchester and is always telling me that ethics is in football. Mind you, he does have quite a bad lisp.
  12. I guess it could be a major sportswear company in China that are looking to set up a new company for the UK/European marketplace, rather than trading under their existing brand? #clutchingatstraws
  13. He said it would be hard to become a top ten side next season without improving the squad, not that it would be impossible. (I happen to agree with him) Do you think we would have scored more points this season with this squad if Hasenhuttl had been at the helm from the start of the season? I believe we would have been good enough for a top 10 finish (just). You don't believe that. It's just a different opinion, that's all. No big deal.
  14. Because Hasenhuttl wasn't our manager for the first 15 games of the season.
  15. Under Hassenhuttl's stewardship, we are already a top 10 side (just). There again, I am a bit of a "dinlow".
  16. The working title "Navel Gazing" got ditched then...? Sick buckets at the ready for this linked article.... https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/the-portsmouth-film-which-its-makers-hope-can-inspire-disillusioned-fans-to-save-their-clubs-1-8921594
  17. One of these....? http://www.chinawhisper.com/top-10-china-sports-brands/ EDIT #1: from a quick scan of the above companies, PEAK seem to be the one most into sport sponsorship, football (soccer) in particular.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peak_Sport_Products EDIT #2: Xtep have previous involvement in premier league sponsorship with Birmingham City.... didn't seem to end too well.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xtep
  18. Yep, Hasenhuttl just said in the pre-match press conference that it's back to a more 'normal' starting 11 this week
