  1. Any idea when in March? Could be the difference between him missing 6 more games or 10 more. Cheers

  4. Wasn't that 'Morph'? https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/member.php?1485-Morph
  5. With his good friend "Dalian Wanda"? Where's Richmond Saint when we need him?

  7. Thinking out loud..... If Theo is definitely keener to come here than Everton (in principle), is there not scope for coming up with some kind of deal whereby he comes here on loan until the end of the season and then automatically becomes a permenant deal if/when we stay up. Isn't that a win-win for both us and Theo? (I also can't see it being a 'bad' deal for Arsenal either as they can still sell him elesewhere in the summer if we get relegated.... unless his value drops in the meantime but can't see how it would do so significantly)
  8. So he doesn't think he's good enough to help turn our season around....?* (*asked rhetorically with tongue firmly in cheek as I know the response to the question is: "yeah, but it doesn't matter how good the players are when we've got a manager who doesn't exploit their strengths")

  10. Agree that it would have to be Hojbjerg as things stand
  11. It might work a bit like this...? (benefit of the doubt and all that malarkey )
  12. Do we know why he's only played one game for Celtic this season?
  13. McCarthy Cedric - Hoedt - Stephens - Bertrand Romeu - Lemina - Hojbjerg Boufal - Tadic Long Bench: Forster, Bednarek, Pied, JWP, Davis, Sims, Gabbiadini (assumes Yoshida is still injured) Result 2-2 (Long, Sims) Meanwhile, back on planet Earth....
  14. This article from May 2017 (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/05/17/southampton-chairman-stresses-saints-stability-admits-claude/) talks about Reed and Semmens (along with Krueger) forming the "club board". And indeed, Companies House shows Semmens and Reed joining 'Southampton Football Club Limited" board soon after (here: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/00053301/filing-history), however this recent announcment is for the holding company, i.e. "St Mary's Football Group Limited". So, I think this is different to the announcement of their appointments last year (to the football club board) but not sure if there's any significance in them also being appointed to the parent company board 6 months or so later. Probably not, but thought it might be worth a mention.

  16. Why would they be knocking on doors in Portsmouth? Very weird indeed
  17. I wonder if those that criticised people for being sceptical about choccyboxkid's ITK credentials at the time will also be keeping a low profile....? Until the next time of course....
  18. Fair point if that's the case. I just feel we're too 'nice' at times
  19. Isn't the captain allowed to 'confront' the referee without getting booked? Bertrand was the captain at the time and he wasn't a million miles away from the incident. IIRC he just stood there with his head in his hands after their second went in? Again, I'm not saying that haranguing the ref would have achieved anything but for the captain not to seemingly vent any anger just seems to epitomise the resigned attitude of the team as a whole in recent times. Hey ho.... It's only a game...
  20. Post some photos
  21. Indeed....they're going to be so complacent that we'll nick a win....
  22. Lighten up sir... I suspect his tongue was in his cheek....
  23. That chap whose team are currently losing 4-0 to Spurs?
