The vibe from Hassenhuttl there is that he's definitely more rather than less expectant of getting one more player in. Could just be sending out a "well, we tried up until the last minute" message to placate fans I guess, but he seemed genuinely convinced that we can stil get one more in. Although he did say that we wouldn't sign someone just for the sake of ticking a box... "if we do sign someone it would have to be a perfect fit" (or words to that effect)

Ralph at today's press conference just now: "Maybe one more player will still be coming in"

Will you promise to remind us about this on a daily basis? Much appreciated [emoji106]

The only link I can find is somewhat tenuous in that our goalkeeper coach (Andrew Sparkes) was at New York Red Bull's for 7 years in a coaching capacity, so maybe he's still got contacts there. That said, he left in 2012 so just me clutching at straws really.

Hi Owen, First of all, large congratulations on your Degree success. Nice one! Cheers for the candid update regarding your blog/vlog. It's a shame that the vocal minority have the greatest impact on things like this but, alas, that's social media for you... I enjoyed watching your videos but will enjoy reading your blog during the coming season Cheers

I fear you may be mistaking me for someone that has declared they know something about this... Let me reassure you that I know diddly squat about the subject matter under discussion. Apologies for interupting the flow of the usual "I'm right", "No, I'm right", "No, you're wrong", "No, you're wrong" Saintsweb Forum bickering convention

I could be wrong (first time for everything ) but I think what Nolan is highlighting is that if the entire UK population earned £1 million, all except one person who earned £999,999, then that one person would be classed as 'poor' under one of the regularly used methods of categorisation. #extremetoillustrateapoint Maybe.

This has 0-0 written all over it (genuinely)

As others have highlighted, it depends who has the contract with this "3rd party". If the 3rd party is a supplier to UA then that wouldn't stop UA being in breach of contract with Saints. Analogy klaxon... If you contract a caterer to cater for your wedding reception and the butcher fails to supply the caterer with meat and as a result the caterer can't provide the catering you contracted them to provide, then the caterer are in breach of contract with you...

(1) Where will we finish in the league? >>> 7th (2) Which round we will reach in the Mickey Mouse Cup? >>> Final (3) Which round in the FA cup? >>> 4th (4) Leading Goalscorer? >>> Adams (5) Our player of the season? >>> Adams (6) Which player will surprise you most? >>> N'Lundulu (7) How do you think our great neighbors will get on down the M27? >>> Automatic promotion

In the general scheme of things, none of this "matters"... all people are doing is wondering why the club has chosen to not announce the departure of Ralph's assistant manager despite him departing several weeks ago (so it would seem). No-one's losing sleep over it, just natural human curiosity as to the absence of an official announcement at the time it happened. What's an internet football forum to be used for if not for pondering about stuff? Anyway, enough of my thoughts on the subject. Here's to Saints finishing 7th next season
-
I agree with you! (I'm just trying to placate those that don't share the same point of view. Anyway, life's too short for all this "I'm right", "No, I'm right", "No, you're wrong", "No I'm not, you're wrong" malarkey )
-
All I've seen is today's Daily Echo article. Where have the club announced it? (not doubting you, just interested in reading the club's statement)
-
Fair enough. Different people will be interested in different things. Nothing wrong with that. Just people chewing over stuff on an internet football forum. I'm not about to judge or question anyone for what things they're interested in discussing....

Cheers for the insights LeG - appreciated

Hi LeG... Are you saying that he was released because we didn't have enough money to retain him or that we now don't have enough money to replace him after he decided to leave?* (even though one assumes we'd have continued to pay him if he hadn't decided to leave...?) (*again, I'm not interested in any underlying personal/private reasons why Rohl had to leave, just the mechanics behind it)
